Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the room and bathroom were small and crowded. there was only one restaurant open, but just until 10pm o'clock
staff very friendly and helpful; the hotel is very nice, modern; good place to relax especially with all the facilities at the spa center and at the HealthCenter

It seems to have a management problem.. The restaurant had a lot of things from the menu missing, including beers. Location is very bad also. This is not the hotel management's fault, it is local administration

The kid's menu needs to be more versatile.
The staff goes beyond duty to help. Everyone is highly professional and kind. We felt very well looked after. Overall a great experience.

Room a little small, but we managed
Great customer service, Nice staff, very close to customer. There was a party for kids, and, even though we did not buy the Easter package, our kid was invited. They thought of everything :) Great swimming area, all very clean. Good food in the restaurant. Wide spaces, plenty of spaces for kids

I would have loved that they had some enzymatic water in the SPA area. It would have perfectly completed the super nice area.
Alma was a really pleasant surprise for me! The location was recently opened in the summer of 2022 and I liked it very much. The facilities are very good, the staff is super friendly, the room was comfortable and the breakfast varied - i loved the fact that they had a nice variety of food and fruits. I appreciated that they checked us in earlier, since the room was ready. The place has both a SPA and a Health Center. I had a wonderful ayurvedic massage in the SPA area and I will definitely turn back since i have some more therapies to try. :) The indoor pool is also very nice, painted in nice colors of green and turquoise. I totally recommend this place, it's perfect for a few days of pampering.

New facility, well designed and the attention to detail and quality products like bedlinen and bathrobe is fantastic. PArking in front of the hotel, kind, knowledgeable and smiling receptionists, great spa and overall feeling of 'welcome dear guest" is everywhere. Very happy I've chosen this hotel. I will return.

we paid in advance at the reception 2 organized dinner parties.. and to be honest the food was simply not good at all.. we regretted and should have stayed with a la carte restaurant instead

there was only one restaurant open for every meal, the staff not prepared enough, the menu very small and half of it not available, not many options to select. Breakfast was ok, I could not find any kind of fish sortiments, good but not great.
the location was new and very clean, the hotel staff great.

Reception personel had a weird attitude when she saw the kid, starting asking for additional things we didnt ask for. Also the few questions we had regarding restaurants didn't get a helpful answer.
New Hotel, very clean, good layout, nice SPA. Water Park, under construction at the time, looks great! Breakfast is decent.
