Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Window in the ceiling - no view outside, a little noise from the yard and street, but not much.
Helpful and friendly host. Free parking spaces on the opposite side of the street.

Overall lighting could be improved.
No contact access. Spoke on the phone. Room ok for an overnight stay, location was quiet. Great value for the money.

Breakfast was probably the main and only disapointment. I didn't expect that for an equivalent of 7 euros I would get only few slices of cheese and ham, a cup of coffee and bread without butter. Had I known that in advance I wouldn't have taken it.
The room was absolutely clean, and the bed was comfortable. The window in the attic gave you fresh air. Wi-Fi was 95% fine, but a couple of times I had to go downstairs to get a more reliable connection. For walk lovers like me it is close to the Old Town, for those who are not there is a bus. Also the place is close to the bus station from which you can go to Bran to visit Dracula's Castle.

The lightning in the bedroom and bathroom was rather dull and yellowish, it was hurting my eyes. Perhaps change of light bulbs or adding an additional lamp would fix the problem. Also, the stick for opening the skylight window was broken, so it was challenging opening/closing the window.
Good value for money and the location was convenient for what we needed. Comfortable bed and bathroom. Quiet. Good size. Large wardrobe - excellent for longer term stays. Shared kitchen available with fridge and washing machine.

The bathroom was not clean, there was dust on the mirror and the toiletries were lacking. The room was quite cold and not very welcoming. The host was a bit bothered that we did not call ahead of our arrival. Common spaces like the kitchen and hallway are shared with the hosts.
The location was good, as chosen. The breakfast and the coffee were nice and the hosts were welcoming.

Quite noisy till late. Most of the sockets don't work. Old TV. Old furniture. Free parking is not really free.
Decent room size. The cleaning lady is very sweet.

spacious bathroom, good room with desk and big closet. kind and helpful host, with quick respond time. Didn't expect a shared kitchen. No watter kettle in the rooms. Kids and people yelling and making loud noises all day and all night. One night someone randomly tried getting into my room, thankfully I locked it. Random service and repair men knocking on my room window asking questions. Didn't even meet the host.

They don't have a receptionist. When I called the owner about some problems, she told me she would arive in 40 minutes at best. Only an hour later some guy arrived, but he didn't solve any of their issues. The reservation was on a february and it was very cold outside. Their heating system did not work at all and because of that my room was cold and I did not have any warm water. Only cold water. I could barely endure the cold water to take a quick shower. I had to endure this all 3 days of my trip. After first day passed, I called them and told them about their issues. They said that they solved the issues and also that they are sorry about it, but the issues were not solved at all. After that, they didn't respond in time and my trip was already over. Their sheets were very thin. I could barely close an eye at night because of the cold. Please avoid them. Don't support thieves!

It was freezing cold in my room ,I was asking for a double bed they gave me two single beds ,and I was with my wife there ,I caught a cold because of the temperature of the room ,and this is ruined all my trip ,well sometimes we take risks by booking something what we don't know exactly all about it , because on the photos looked great ,thanks god I was booking it for only one night...
