Nice, spacious and clean room. Close to Cluj old town. Free parking onsite. Nice greeting when we arrived, even received a welcoming nip of the local liqueur at reception!

There is nothing not to like there.

This place got 10/10, if i could - i would give it a 1000, why? Because of the owner. I never met such a nice person in my life. It’s a family business with the most humble people running it. Everything we asked, the owner turned the whole world upside down for us, he invited us for a beer on him, they make sure you have everything you need in the room, and he always super nice. Once I broke my belt by mistake and asked him what are the chances he have something to borrow me.. his son immediately brought me a few of his own, so i can choose which one i like. I have never received such a good service before. We came there for the untold festival and from now i will stay only there when I’ll get there for next festival. Our experience was perfect!

As coming from the United Kingdom we have tea and coffee facilities in the room, here they weren't present, therefore I had to go in town for a coffee and croissant. But Cluj is a fantastic town and many things to see and visit around.

Vila Dorobantilor is an amazing property to stay if you travel to Romania, especially if you are in Cluj Napoca as a traveller it would be fantastic to stay here due to the fact that it is located 10 minutes away from the centre of the city. In the proximity of the vila you also have a Shop&Go where you can buy buscuits, bread, beer, toiletries or other staff which may need for your stay. The staff were very friendly and explained where things are, such a smooth check-in process. I absolutely consider that I will recommend this to my friends.

Very friendly staff, who did everything to make sure we had a stress free stay. Rooms were nice and spacious for a hotel in the middle of the city centre. Air-conditioned with fridge and safe deposit box. Liviu is your friend.

We got two rooms facing the street with a very heavy 24/7 traffic. I cannot recall any place as noisy as this one. Even the double glass windows wouldn't help. Beds are not comfortable (with linen small for their size), showers without doors and very odd, towels are small and not being changed daily. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. I am sorry, but I cannot recommend this hotel.

The air conditioner did not work well and it was cooler to open the window, which was disappointing as I selected this hotel that was not city Centre specifically for its air conditioning facilities (however I do believe I saw a similar review before booking but was hoping it was a one off). Also whilst not a real issue, the reception is not always staffed and there is a number to call if assistance required which may not work for all travelers with no phone service.

The room was cleaned every second day (we stated 6 dayes), . They cleaned the bathroom but not the room The reception functioned only fro 7 am to 7 pm There is no looby the furnicher was simple - not what you ecpect from a 4 star hotel

good location. staff - only one person manages the place. they don't clean the room every day. they change towels every other day. They couldn't order us a taxi because it was late at night. We managed, but this is not the way you manage a hotel.

This is not a 4-star hotel!!!! I did not pay about $90 per day to stay in a 2-star hotel with stains all over the carpet and the bathroom. The breakfast was very basic, there was not even enough space or food for people to sit and dine. This is a scam! It is unacceptable to consider this a 4-star hotel.
