To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the Villa is too good for the money I paid. , we got a free transfer to the airport for which a taxi would have taken 50 dollars. the owners are very good and pleasant. if I come again, I will come to the same villa

GreeceThe host is one of the most amazing people we met during our stay in Seychelles! She was so kind and thoughtful! Specifically, we checked in late at night due to our late arrival and there were no open restaurants in the area. When we asked our host if there is any way we can get food around here she offered very kindly to cook for us. And not only did she cook, but she also made us such an amazing dinner, large portions and so so so delicious. Plus she took the next day off so she can take us wherever we wanted during our stay. Our stay here was a blessing. Because of the gorgeous apartment, the most amazing host, and the best services. Thank you so much for everything! Highly recommended!!

It's difficult to point out all the things that we enjoyed at Villa Voilier. But they were plenty. The location was perfect on the more quiet coast of the island, just 100m from the main road. The house has a parking available with a roof, huge garden accesible right from the room and plenty of space available in the bathroom and livingroom. Sherille was a wonderfull host, going the extra mile to give us tips regarding transportation and whereabouts. But what made our stay at Villa Voilier to feel above and beyond are the fresh fruits that Sherille brought to us everyday, the wonderful diners she cooked for us but especially the fact that she and her husband offered to pick us up from the jetty port and to take us to the airport when we were not able to find any rental cars available anymore. We felt like they are doing everything for their guests to have a perfect experience. I recommend Villa Voilier as a 6 star accomodation.

It is a modern style home equipped with everything you need. We spent our honeymoon here and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The hosts are really warm and welcoming, and even treated us to local dishes and home made pizza. They always welcomed us home and offered daily cleaning services. The communication was easy and they also recommended places to visit. The location is also near the beach on a picturesque hill. The garden is really beautiful. Book this home without thinking twice!
