Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Be aware of trafficnoise if you have a room near the road. Not a big issue, unless it is verye hot atnd you sleep for open windows.

A great location if you have a car. The bus into Borgholm only ran every hour in either direction which took a bit of thought and planning. My windows were very stiff to open and almost impossible to close. Being on a lower floor made it feel unsafe to leave them open.
A very clean and bright hotel with friendly and helpful staff. My room was a good size with a great shower. Lovely terrace for breakfast and good buffet selection. The delicatessen attached is excellent and I enjoyed free entry to the Vida Museum next door. There is a delightful nature reserve walk to the Strand edge.

Windows could not be fixed in place, only open or closed. The table in the room was very small, eating on it was not very comfortable. Kitchen closes at 8pm, eating something later might be a problem.
Breakfast was good. Staff was very kind. Overall, room is comfortable, although some facilities like spa were not available at the time.

The entrance to the hotel looks abandoned and unwelcoming, I thought we come to the wrong place first. I understand they renovate and focus on rooms etc, but it does not take a lot of efforts to take away the weeds and put 2 pots of flowers at the entrance door to make you feel welcome. Another thing was the price considering the environment and ongoing renovation which was not indicated in any way before coming and was not reflected in the price neither. TV was not installed yet in the room, breakfast was served at the entrance lobby, entrance environment. Reception has a big role in making a tired family welcome by focusing on solving things (food), not on what is not possible (eating) or not working (TV) to compensate for the unexpected unfinished environment. The staff was nice, just not trained for that approach.
Our family room was completely new, fresh, Spacious and clean. Dinner from menu was delicious and nice sitting outside when the sun was going down. Kitchen staff get 5 star for solving and serving dinner for us even though the reception said at arrival 20.30 that we have not booked any table, then we will not have the opportunity to eat (family with 2 kids). We would have booked table in advance if we knew we have to, we called the hotel beforehand to say when we arrive.

Room was not properly cleaned every day. Put more attention into it. Breakfast was too simple. Based on the room cost, it could have had more variety.

According to my Booking via booking a booked and payed for a suite. As the hotel is still VERY MUCH under construction there were no suites available but still payed for it! The AC was broken so it was very very very warm. Even after opening a complaint for the fact that we payed for a suite the refused compensation.

The room was stuffy in the hot weather as there is no air con. The food in the restaurant was over priced. The breakfast varied in quality.
The staff were all extremely friendly and hospitable. The hotel backs onto a nature reserve and has great walking tracks. The room was very nice and it was quiet (in general) and very comfortable with a spiffy bathroom. There are two terraces to sit outdoors with great views of the sunset. The grounds are very pleasant to walk around in and the wine was very good at the restaurant. We felt welcomed to enjoy our stay.
