There was no WIFI in the room!!! The small lamp for the bunk bed did not work.

Only down side was there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Great location, easy walk from train station. Close to shops, cafes, bars and all local attractions. Good buffet style continental breakfast with lots of options.

Breakfast was very limited! And restless, guests were surrounding around the table - could have been planned more carefully. In modern hotels, these should be hand-washes in the bathroom, not just the one in the ceiling

There are limited reception opening times. The self check in via the computer felt unpersonal.

Great location, near to the Cathedral, the palace as well as the city centre. The room and bathroom were very clean and the large double bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ample and varied. Next time we are passing through Uppsala we will be staying here again.

Breakfast could have been better but it was not bad at all. There was no hot food (scrambled eggs or bacon) but that was not exactly a problem for me as there was plenty of other food (different types of bread, etc) to eat.

The location is really good for exploring the city on foot (cathedral, castle, botanical gardens, etc). It was not super expensive as other hotels. The hotel room was perfect for me as a solo traveler. Would definitely stay there again if I go back to the city.

The room for 3 (2 bunkbeds and a single bed) was really small and the single bed was really worn down.

The location right down the castle and in the midst of the university "Nations" is great. The bathroom was nice.

It was a little disconcerting when the grille for the shower water to flow out suddenly shifted under my feet; I nearly fell over from the startlement. However, once I knew it might happen I was able to avoid it doing so again.

This hotel was in the part of the city in which we needed to stay (mobility problems) and easily accessible. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts good quality and plentiful. We were not expecting frills, so suffered no disappointment from not getting them. If what is wanted is a place to come back to for sleep, and to eat in before going out in the morning, this is perfect for your needs; if what you want is a place that is fancy, this is not the place for you.

The window blinds and curtains were not effective in providing blackout during the night. There was lot of noise from the bar just opposite the hotel. The room was very hot, there were no local controls to set the temperature. The staff was helpful and provided a fan upon asking.

The sink in my room was too small.

The staff was very friendly. I got my room unexpectedly early, before the usual check-in time. The room was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Although I would prefer a double bed instead of two single beds, but it was ok. I usually have problems with the pillows when I stay at hotels. Pillows at CityStay hotel were just perfect - with down and feder filling! I appreciated it very much! Breakfast was good and I liked the very central location.
