The staircase to the upper apartments is steep and the entrance is exposed to the weather.

Charming wooden houses and very comfortable newer apartments. They are tastefully and aesthetically decorated, with all the comforts and facilities that are more than standard. The style of furnishing, in which the local wood plays a leading role, together with all the other highly imaginative touches, honors the local cultural heritage and pays homage to the local traditions, both in the use of materials and the choice of textile patterns, as well as in the recommendation of cuisine and places to eat. Almost small village with its own story, yet faithful to the unified local tourism brand of 'The Land of the Golden Horn'. We did not use the ski and equipment room due to weather conditions.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL chalet. We were lucky to get A1, with a separate bedroom upstairs. Amazing view of the mountain, super comfortable bed and couch. Fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Great little coffee machine. Well located for vogel ski resort (walkable, about 800m) and very near hiking trails. Cannot speak highly enough of friendliness and communication of the host. Extremely good value for money. Perfect for a family, or honeymoon destination. The Valley is unbelievably beautiful, and Aplik is so perfectly located for a getaway. We would love to return in the summer. 11/10

The unique interior of the building/apartment..decored with carefully picked objects of the local tradition ( woodworking and craft). Clean, tiny but spacious, beautiful, pristine peaceful surrounding and atmosphere. Ukanc and Alpik Chalets is a place to spend a short break or a holiday.. hiking or biking, skiing in winter or just nature gazing. I sure will be back. :)

We had the most amazing, comfortable stay in a stunning fairytale location. The apartment was so homely, clean, and well equipped with everything you need. The staff were so accomodating and attentive, and even gave us a free upgrade!! Only a 4 min drive (or 15 min walk) to the Vogel ski lift which made it the perfect location to stay during our time skiing in Slovenia. Have already recommended to friends!

The only thing we got confused is on booking it says that check out is at 10 am, but you can check out at 11.

We loved everything about our stay, the room was very cozy, all the facilities are very nice and the kitchen is very nicely equipped. the cable car to Vogel ski resort was only 2 min drive which was very handy because we went skiing during our stay. I would recommend Alpik chalets to anyone who wants to experience an amazing fairytale in nature.

I would have given a 10 score had it not been the construction around the chalet that actually destroys the view. It’s not noisy though. The good thing that this is only temporary. There is 1 flight of stairs at the outside (entrance to the room). I didn’t choose the duplex as the bathroom is downstairs and room is upstairs (which is inconvenient for my already hurting knee) even though the host offered me the duplex with no construction obstructing the view. It’s kind of him though.

Location with a million dollar view. The cottage like chalet is warm like home. Host is friendly & helpful.

Stunning accommodation in a fairytale location. Clean as a whistle. Cosy and comfortable apartment with windows all around boasting superb views of the surrounding nature. The kind of place where you can instantly relax and feel at home. Would love to spend a lot more time there if I could.

This place is so nice ! Everything is clean and new inside , it’s 5-10 min walk from the lake , jacka the host is very kind and helpful, and so is the housekeeper ! Location is also really cute , we really loved staying there, and would do it again with no hesitation ! :)

I wish i had been told there would be construction in the morning next to the bedroom. We were tired from travel and not rising as early and the noise was inconvenient to the peace of nature. I would have liked a late checkout... 10am is early. 11am would be better.

The location, serenity, nature... I didn't want to leave! The fireplace had wood available and it got cool at night so was much appreciated. I love how clean and cozy things were. I had enough kitchen supplies to cook even though we decided to go out instead. I love Illy espresso which was the perfect start to my morning of hiking and adventuring. The bedroom was so peaceful, i slept very well. The mattress and bedding were so comfortable. Overall i would absolutely come back again!!!

There were some problems with Wi-Fi, it would be great to have more electric outlets - only tiny problems, it doesn't change the rating. Breakfasts good but overpriced in my opinion.

Maybe a very small thing. The beds are loud because of the wood. My little girl was in our room and sometimes she woke up when i get out of the bed. And the pillow was too tough for me. But everything else was perfect

It's like a fairytale. The house, the river, the lake... everything in the house is authentic and clean. The bohinj breakfast was very good and the coffee is phenomenal. The woman in the reception is sooo kind, and helpful. We will go back sure
