Exceptional interior design, corridors with horse paintings, classy combination of wood and metal. Close to Italian border, also next door to a horse farm and golf course. Good location for walking in the nature, and exploration of the region. No surrounding noises, other than of nature, so you can completely relax here.

Small table near the bed would be nice to have, currently there is kind of shelf. Also, the water in the room wasn’t great, we couldn’t drink it

Really cool and stylish hotel in the peaceful and lovely place of Lipica - we booked it quite accidentally to stay overnight during the road trip. However, we were really surprised by big beautiful surroundings, horses and very nice breakfast. They had filter coffee, wonderful fresh croissants, good amount of fruit and vegetables etc. Will come back to this place for a full scale vacation to have a proper social detox and time with nature.

I have asked for a quiet room and they gave me the room next to the elevator, so you could hear the elevator going up and down, however the staff was helpful and changed the room (I am a light sleeper, hence other people might not be disturbed by that). The water was not draining very well in the shower. The sink was in the room, interesting design, however if you are more than 1 person in the room can be disturbing to wash your hands in the room while the other person might sleep, etc

The room was aesthetically pleasing but missing practicality. There was a tiny nightstand on one side of the bed and none on the other side. The many small lights in the room ensured the warm lighting but had to be turned off individually before sleeping. The shower head was probably designed to be resemble a horse comb, which was not possible to hang overhead for a vertical flow. The coffee machine at the breakfast lounge brewed too little coffee for the available mugs. In general everything had the feeling of being designed for pleasing looks instead of practical use.

We stayed here for one night on our road trip. We had a very good price compared to the listed prices at the hotel reception. The stud farm location is very beautiful, even though we are not interested in horse riding. It was an interesting discovery thanks to the hotel. The hotel and the room have a very classy look and feel. Everything is aesthetically pleasing. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast had a large selection.
