Not a criticism, just a note: the breakfast room is not very big, so you are required to book a time slot for breakfast.

The building is beautiful and the simplicity of its interior design reflects its original purpose. They serve great breakfast, there is coffee and tea throughout the day in a little self-service station, rooms are simple but very well equipped, and the joy of coming back to such a gorgeous setting after a long day was priceless. They also made us lovely packed breakfast for our final morning, as we were leaving very early. Very nice staff; we'll gladly come back.

This is the best hotel of our trip in Slovenia and Croatia. The house is beautiful, ideally located, the staff is extremely nice and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. We stayed 3 nights. The bed are extremely good and the shower was perfect.

Location is excellent, right under the castle and with a view of the lake. As it’s located next to the Church it’s pretty quiet, especially at night. All of the staff were helpful and friendly, you can tell they care about providing a nice experience for guests. Breakfast was included which was a nice touch

The only downsides were the fact the hot water is not available 24/7 (we had a couple of cold post day out showers which was not ideal). We also didn’t receive a top up of our soap/shampoo during our stay, despite it being nearly on empty upon our arrival.

Location was amazing and loved the uniqueness of the property. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was fab- we particularly liked the pastries and freshly cooked eggs upon request!

Location is great! Near the lake and at the starting point of going up to the castle. Also near Bled bus station. Room is clean and wifi is ok. Breakfast is also great. There is coffee area where you can get coffee and tea anytime. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. We arrived early and our room is ready, they allowed us to check in early. We have to leave early to airport, the staff prepared some sandwiches, juice and fruits for us in the afternoon the day before we checkout.

Hard to find anything not to like

Everything is great, from the quite special location, to the stylish, newly renovated rooms, the wonderful breakfast on a terrace overlooking the entire picturesque sourroundings and the quiet environment.

The location was the perfect combination of close enough to everything you need but yet slightly secluded and tucked away. There were many touches in the room and shared space that most hosts would not think to include, which indicates that those taking care of the Old Parish House really care for their guests.

There isn’t anything bad about property that will disturb your stay, only few things to improve by the owner. Shower door doesn’t hold very well on the bottom so it leaks a bit while you take a shower. Also the door in the entrance doesn’t always close on the first try. A little canopy would be also nice edition to add on the enterance when it rains for people who smoke.

It has amazing view in front of the property. Everything you need is really close, from restaurants, markets, attractions, even a souvenir shop inside the property. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, you have a lot of options, beside that you can order coffee or tea with it. On the first floor there is also complementary coffee and tea which you can make by yourself when kitchen is closed, beside that you get a bag of dried fruits and nut for welcome. All in all every recommendation to visit it.

location of the old parish is perfect, there are some local restaurants/shops close by but the main town is a very short walk to get to. breakfast was included and of great selection and quality. the room was finished well and well equipped, comfortable and tidy
