Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceThe bed was too squeaky (but not that uncomfortable) and not enough hot water upstairs
Very friendly owners (though the language barrier was present) with a lovely dog, not too badly located (relatively close to a bus stop but a few km from the city center), good breakfast on request

PolandIf you arrive earlier (or later) than your expected time, you might have to call because no-one will answer the doorbell. The bathroom only has a bathtub (no standing shower), which is slightly less comfortable. There is a giant dog walking freely on the property -- consider this if you have allergies or are afraid of dogs. The beds are pretty creaky and their base seems to be a metallic net.
Don't be put off by the location -- public transport in Bratislava is excellent, and there is a direct line from the main railway station. The wardrobe is very big (although the room is for three, so I'm not sure if it's enough for a full room). They provide two towels, soap, shampoo and shower gel -- saves you some space packing.

Poland-location is not the best if you want to explore city centre -a little bit hard to find the right building (I would recommend adding some signs on fenster or next to the main road)
-close to the bus stop, what means ~ 20 minutes to city centre or airport -very nice staff -access to the kitchen

United KingdomThe beds are quite small for larger/tall people. Also they are quite hard to sleep on with how thin the mattress is, other than that it's definitely worth the money!
The location was very good, 10 minutes from the city center. The room was very spacious with air con and the owner is a very helpful nice man! Would definitely stay here again in the future.

United KingdomI did not know about the shared bathrooms, so it was a bit hard especially for a lady having to share with men, a bit thin bedding and very small beds.
Great hosts, very friendly and helpful, a lovely breakfast cooked by the owner even though it was early. The place was clean, my room had air conditioning and a fridge. Great location. What a great value for money. And a friendly dog too:)

SwedenFantastic hotel. The owner was very kind and really enjoyed staying at this place. And the location was not far to drive to bratislava centrum and the parking was great aswell within the gates. The room had AC. And breakfast and coffee in the morning. Nothing to complain about. Maybe the beds was a little bit hard but i dont like soft beds so it suited me perfectly I Would really recommend this place.

Saudi ArabiaShared Bathrooms - The fact that bathrooms are shared is mentioned as a potential concern for some guests. This may particularly affect the comfort of women or individuals from more traditional or conservative backgrounds. The suggestion was made for the property to consider designating separate bathrooms for men and women to alleviate this concern.

United States of AmericaThe beds are pretty uncomfortable and the linens were pretty threadbare. The walls were pretty dingy around the beds, reflecting many years of people sleeping there. The room was hot until the night time when I could open the skylight window and then it cooled down. The off street parking is also where the large resident dog relieves himself, so watch where you step. I was on a budget, so everything was about as expected. As long as you bear in mind that you're paying 33€ and set your expectations accordingly, you'll be fine.
The price is unreal: I paid 33€ with breakfast. For the absolute budget conscious traveler, this budget pensione allows a trip that might not otherwise have occurred. You are sharing the house with the owners, who are very friendly, but be advised that there may be some language barriers. The owner spoke enough English to play charades and figure out breakfast and payment, which was totally fine. When I arrived another man was there who spoke almost no English and that made check in challenging. Refrigerator in the room was a plus. Off street parking is available, but tight, which didn't surprise me given the neighborhood setting. The bathing facilities are traditional European, which means a tub with no shower curtain and a hand held spray nozzle. It was fine, but American travelers might not be used to that. There are a number of restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance and because you are in a working class neighborhood, the prices are very good. Breakfast was cooked to order by the wife of the owner, so it was a fresh as you can get.

PolandVery nice and helpful host, who was waiting for my arrival. I was traveling by motorcycle which was safely parked behind a gate. The neighborhood is quiet, there is a supermarket near by. There are 2 gas stations so it's possible to grab something to eat when it's late. I bought the breakfast as well, which was home made and pretty good. Great price to product ratio.

HungaryIt was a little bit far from the city center but public transportation is working very well so there was no problem at all for us. We were 3 students and stay just one night before going to Vienna and it was more than okay for us. There was an power cut and the room was so cold throughout the night but the staff took only the half of the price because they weren't able to solve it at night. It was a very kind behavior, we didn't expect it. Everywhere was so clean and it was really important for us, we are very satisfied about this. Beds are not very comfortable but we were not expecting a bed like in a hotel so it was also okay. Also, there is an microwave and a little kitchen, so you can come with your food and warm up if you want to travel with minimum prices as much as possible like us. Overall, I can say that I would recommend this place to students and short-term stays.
