Good except they told me the pupusas were not part of the breakfast and I didn’t get any when I did find out they were all gone. Sadly I missed out maybe next time

It could use a facelift. The outside needs a coat of paint to give it the Grand Lux feel it used to have. It really needs a little bit of face lift. Also either install or make sure the bathroom exhaust fan are in working other. That always a plus.

I love the location and the ambiance. It really gives you that sense of relaxation and vacation experience. The staff were always very professional and courteous from the bellman to the staff in the cleaning crew. They were always there with a smile ready to assist. We arrived earlier than the usual checkin and were able to check in as soon as the rooms were made ready. The luggage stayed safely secured at the front desk while we were able to enjoy the garden and the restaurant. The evenings were also very relaxing in the lounge area. Food was always delicious and the restaurant staff again was superb. The rooms were so as always nice, clean and very comfortable. The Mall across the hotel is such a great and convenient thing. The San Benito area is again super easy to navigate with shops and restaurants and Museums. Overall I absolutely love this hotel, and have been coming back each time I travel back to ES.

Overall facility is very nice, but from the outside doesn't look well maintained. An exterior paint refresh would do wonders!! The room was very well maintained but a little dated.

Loved the convenience and selection of breakfast items. Very high quality and easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is awesome and right across from new shops, restaurants that are really superb!!

There were several hiccups/inconveniences that were not a big deal until you put them together. The most significant is there are some sort of local pigeons that live behind the hotel and the staff is aware of it. They sound like fighting cats and they made noise throughout the night. Called front desk on the second night and somehow they took care of it and we didn’t have any issues the last two nights we were there. Requested joint rooms 6 weeks ahead and was confirmed two days before and when we arrived were told they didn’t have them. They separated us for the first night, then got us together the remainder of our stay. Shower was broken when arrived, but got fixed. Had another guest show up to one of our room as they’d been double booked to our room. Again, none of it a huge dealbreaker, but small annoyances. Overall, given the limited local options, I’d likely stay here again.

Location was great for accessing the city and surrounding areas.

The food items were not level at all. if you had an allergy, your food options were limited. I order room service and the food was terrible. the burgers were dry and the grilled cheese was cold and the cheese was unmelted.

I liked that the restaurant was on a terrace. The overall customer service in the entire hotel was excellent.

The property needs an exterior paint job urgently. The interior, although clean and nice is a bit dated.

Noise from parties at the hotel gets too loud. We could hear loud music until 3am.

Party events the two nights I stay, with really loud music in the pool area, people dancing around 1am. I asked for a less noisy room and they agreed in give me other room in the higher levels, however still there the music sounded loud. The hotel staff said that's normal due to the holidays, however not normal for me, where I was looking for a place to stay calmly having good night sleeps.

We loved our stay overall. Very clean, quiet room, enjoyed the variety of their breakfast buffet, would definitely recommend it as it was convenient for us to have our brunch there and then head out for the day. There was a minor issue with adjusting the water temperature in the shower at times, but for the most part it worked fine. The only disappointing issue we had was with a function held at the hotel on the evening before our flight home. The event included loud music and was scheduled till midnight, and the hotel left a note at our door the morning of, informing us of an event from 6-12pm without mention of the potential for noise disruption. It would have been nice to receive a clearer explanation about noise disruption for that evening’s event and more advanced notice to have the option to switch rooms for the night. Luckily for us, the party ended their music around 11pm and we managed to get some sleep.

Very clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated grounds, excellent pool area adjacent to the open restaurant.

The hotel has not been renovated in some time. It is acceptable but could use some updating.

I have stayed there five or six times. The staff are exceptionally friendly and very professional. Breakfast is also amazing. Staying a the Sheraton Presidente is always a very pleasant experience.

Not a lot of parking spaces available inside the hotel. There’s an annexed parking lot but it’s not that close (considering you’re going to walk with luggage.
