Breakfast lack variety, dinner on the expensive side, but given that it is a resort, these things are quite standard.

The view is amazing from my room. They also have an onsen, many swimming facilities, and a daily entertainment show and activities for everyone in the family. The mini bar is also free.

Not much instructions in English in the room about how to operate the television or other systems!

Excellent location with beautiful rooms overlooking the Sun-Moon Lake. The shuttle bus around the lake stops right outside the hotel, which is very convenient. Large buffet spread of breakfast and dinner, but wish there were some more Western dishes on offer. The most comfortable beds! I also liked the little touch of entertainment that the hotel organized after dinner for its guests. Very pleasant hour or so! There’s a sense of generosity about this small hotel that is really touching!

Love the room - clean, spacious, comfy with many amenities, especially the onsen bath pool! The recreational room has many fun and varied activities that can keep us occupied for hours. The staff are extremely customer-friendly and provide services promptly. The buffet spread for breakfast and dinner is superb and we are spoilt for choices. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and we definitely would love to come back again if we had the chance. Strongly recommended to those who don’t have to worry on the budget.

I do feel that the rate was above the industry norm. This was our first trip of the few that followed, and compare to other places of the same class we stayed at, this was definitely more expensive.

The facility was well kept, and food provided was up to par. I thoroughly enjoyed the lake view from our balcony, which was the highlight of this booking.

we were asking for cable cart information. the staff were not very nice in reply they don't work with cable cart company and ignored us. we were dumb-fulled. rude in a way. Even don't work with the local cable cart company, considering the representation of the hotel basic courtesy is a must.

meals were great. lots variety, local delights, Japanese, or western style were a footsteps away. especially breakfast, serving time is from 7 in the morning til noon. you can eat early breakfast and later can come in a light lunch before you go. game room is great especially family gather during raining season.

Fantastic location and view, but that we already expected. What took us by surprise (positively) was the excellent indoor water world including hot spring and the extensive play area and arcade for children. Definitely the best place to stay at Sun Moon lake.

Second floor restaurant had too many tables and tables were close to each other, it got noisy during busy hours.

Japanese style room and roof top lounge has awesome view of lake. All staffs were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing but luxurious at the same time.

It is out of the way but you can arrange shuttle. Nonetheless, the hotel is so great that I won't even want to leave the space.

The service is out of the world. The food is excellent and you can go there till noon time. Food has a huge variety and really delicious. Fantastic view of sunset.

Outstanding service from the staff, they offered advice on how to get to different locations around Sun Moon Lake. They were quick to provide solutions when things arise and they notice fine details and provide solutions before we even ask.
