Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We have to walk up one floor of stairs to get to the hotel lobby

Little things - there needs to be more towel hooks in the bathroom, a peephole in the door, the security chain on the door was broken
The location was great, it was a good option for the lower priced end of the market. The beds were comfy, plenty of food and drink options available nearby

- the place is near to the train around 5-10 mins walk, - really nice location, the place is around Ximending area you can walk around their night market - the staff are very kind, very accommodating and they allow us to keep our luggage even we already checked out - the room is 10/10 clean, no bad smell - the equipment are working fine - there is bathtub and hot shower - free coffee, tea and water - they clean the room everyday - highly recommended, value for money, we will definitely stay here again if we have chance - you can request to reheat your food in the lobby area

The owner gave us cup noodles since we arrived midnight and they assume we our hungry. Upon check out, they gave us pineapple cakes since we might be hungry in the airport. Nice location and super accommodating, will surely go back.

facilities was quite old, but owner upkeep and do cleanliness in our room daily. there is a flight of staircase (half a storey to climb) to use before reaching the lobby, may not be convenient for heavy luggage, etc.
location was good. the staff was friendly and helpful. though hotel does not provide bf due to the space constraint, they still ask us whether we want to have free hot coffee or tea and they will make for us.

Not really good for light sleepers as is located beside a rather busy road and wall is kinda thin.
The place is clean and tidy. Price wise is reasonable. There is staff any hour of the day. Special mention is the aunty that makes going back hotel feels like home, super friendly and helpful.

The toilet was a little old but it was useable. Trash can was small.
The front people were really nice. The lady gave me a lot of pineapple snacks.

Only it was quite far from nearest metro station. Though the road to metro station was from market area where u can enjoy shopping but something tiring while coming back.
The ladies at reception. Very very nice. They will great you with smiling face and will try their best to help you

There is no lift from level 1 to level 2. The reception is at level 2, so need to walk up the stairs to level 2. From level 2, there is lift to the room. While the room is clean every day except the last day, my last day of stay, somehow my room was not cleaned. I supposed they will clean daily since it was done on all previous days.
location is considered good. Walk to the end of ximending, cross the road will be the hotel. room is clean, can walk around without slipper. good that hotel provide coffee and tea, mineral water, bathroom items like toothbrush, paste, shaver are all inclusive.

There's no shuttle to the airport as stated in the description, but they can call a taxi for you.

- Reception is on level 2, not so great if you’re with lots of luggages. - Found bloodstain on spare comforter. - Found coffee stain like on the bed comforter. - No socket point next to bed. - Water heater is slow, you’ll need to turn on the water and let it run for awhile.

Location from the mrt station, we have to walk a bit before we reach the Ximen MRT station. But we enjoyed walking because we passed by downtown and had a walking exercise.
