Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeRooms were small even though it was meant for 4 pax; insufficient space for luggage / hooks for clothes and towels.
Complimentary night activities although it can be just a token participation if there are too many people participating. Delightful view from the hotel room. Breakfast was delicious but repetitive.

SingaporeThe distance to the room from main reception and breakfast area is open air, far and on uneven cobble stone path, up slope. May be difficult for elderly to navigate. E.g. could be 100-200m depending on which room you are in. We eventually paid and upgraded to the premium rooms in order to be situated nearer the main lobby/ breakfast area. Rooms had free WIFI but signal was intermittent. The leisure farm next door is non-existent. No current cultivation. Just some pig pans, geese. Wooden furniture, etc not maintained. Do not plan on counting this as part of the visit/experience because there is nothing there except for great views of the valley below. Outside of the buffet breakfast, food options at the restaurant are very limited. Restaurant only serves fixed set meals (you have a choice from 4 options). It is the same options for both lunch and dinner. In Nov, the sun sets at 5 pm, so the winding and unlit mountain roads to this hotel will be challenging for the unfamiliar after dark. We chose to eat dinner in the hotel for this reason.
We saw 2 tesla EV charging stations at the carpark. We did not use it but if you intend to use it, enquire with the office if it works before coming. Fun social and digitially-disconnected activities for the family. Spinning top competitions, large bubble wands, making tang yuan, setting off large wishing lanterns, even an enclosure of 2 meercats in the reception. Free supper at 9pm of spring onion pancakes, tang yuan we made, sweet sour noodle soup and cold red tea. There are night activities and supper only if there are a sufficient number of guests in the hotel that night. Walking trails from the room doorstep to other parts of this mountain range if you are a keen walker/ hiker.

SingaporeQuite a long walk from the reception to some of the rooms. When it rains, there will be no shelter.
Night activities which included top spinning, release sky lantern and making glutinous rice hall were interesting

Singapore1. Initially provided us non-mountain view until reminder was made and showed proof that they hv agreed to provide us with mountain view. It seemed different from what other reviews mentioned that they will upgrade.. not the case for us. 2. There is nothing (no shops nor convenience store) at walking distance.. its really deserted. The hotel does sell instant noodles as their restaurant is not opened after 8pm. They offered supper but really simple- home-made tang yuan and cong-yiu bing. But quite pathetic. 4 of us shared one piece. There’s Tian Deng but it was so disappointing that the lantern was already written by others and we need to squeeze our wishes. If this is the case, it will be better to do away.. we felt like ‘beggars’ trying to get food and put our wishes. And per night hotel is not cheap.. which we can easily get cheaper ones nearby. But since reviews were good, we booked the hotel. 3. They have funny cleaning policy. They only cleared the Rubbush bins and change towel.. not cleaning of the room nor tidying of bed. Anyway, when we asked them to do the cleaning and tidying of the bed the next day, they agreed. It’s just funny why this has to be told. Is this the practice in Taiwan resort? We are not taking up A&B nor B&B. When we went to other Taipei hotels, we don’t faced that.
A breakaway from city, this hotel would be recommended, as follows : 1. Upon request for mountain view, this was given. The view from the room 236 was fantastic. Really a great room for relaxation! 2. Breakfast varieties is good if there’s reasonable occupancies. Our first day was set breakfast as there’s only 4 of us, and was really restricted. We can understand but suggest to provide Ala cate buffet as that’s what other hotels did to ensure food is not wasted. 3 despite their farm is pathetic- only animals we saw were goose/chicken and pigs, we were contented as we can get so near with the cute piglets.. where we visit them every morning.
