Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Central location in Lutsk. Excellent base to explore the city. Friendly staff. I had an early departure and they provided a lovely breakfast box.

A great option right in the center of Lutsk. I recommend to pay a little extra for the better room category, if available. Breakfast is very good, too.

I had to check in during the middle of the night/during curfew hours and everything went just as smoothly as I could have wished. The location is absolutely central. Great value for money!

My room was Deluxe Double or Twin Room. It was a good choice. The room is big and newly renovated, huge TV. It was warm, very clean, with sleepers, shampoo, everything what needed. It was quiet with windows to the yard. The location is right in the center, very convenient, with food stores, cafes, shopping mall nearby. Also good that there is a secured parking area. I liked breakfast as well. It is not buffet, but 4 options were suggested to choose, tasty enough. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful.

bad sound isolation of the windows, absence of hair dryer in the room (the one needs to go downstairs and pick it up from the reception), no water in the room

English Cable channel. Breakfast opportunities even if we had to pay for.
The front desk fluent in English and friendly and helpful. Restaurant people not as fluent, but just as friendly. Housekeeping ok; but not as friendly; though guessing as they no not a word of English. I like the hotel; the location, and those that run the place. Birthplace of my maternal Grandmother; happy to be here.

The Wi Fi is an open network.
A particular thank you to the warm and friendly reception by all employees. It is particularly appreciated in a hotel that can still have a Soviet attitude to service.

it looks to me the carpets all over a very warn out. when you have carpets in the rooms they are hard to keep clean and they collect dirt and dust. it’s time for an upgrade. Kitchen should serve hot food on hot plates.
the hotel was standard in my opinion. But they have a nice restaurant both furniture and and arrangement was good. The kitchen serve great Ukrainian dishes worth trying. I had “derune’” and chicken in cognac sauce. please remember hot food should be served on hot plates.

I love the hotel and will stay there again. I would recommend implementing more authentic Ukrainian things. Pictures, video, music, quotes of famous Ukrainians. To show all beauty of Ukraine (nature, tradition, culture, history). It´s the gold which we must show.

It was really cold in my room, in the bathroom - everywhere. Even in the corridor it temperature was warmer then in the room. The room itself is small and good for 1-2 night stay.
Location is good, in the city center, lot of caffe and restaurants around. Also, it's a big shopping mall just across the street with Silpo supermarket. The breakfast was has some good options and restaurant itself was nice.
