We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

BrazilThe room was full of mosquitos when we checked-in and even after appointing to the staff when we came back for sleep the mosquitos were still there. I believe for this price they should better prepare the rooms for check-in.

United States of AmericaThe pool chairs were uncomfortable. we spent the first half of the week at Plevak and those chairs were amazing. It was disappointing to sit by the pool and read a book in an uncomfortable chair. Hopefully they can rectify that moving forward. The staff, the hotel, the services, and the driver support were all excellent.

ArgentinaWall painting in the room were extremely intense and even quite erotic. Didn’t know this when I booked, should be communicated in advance to let guest not choose they type of art. asked to change room and it was only possible with higher rate. I considered it very inappropriate. I was looking for a peaceful room and stay and the room was the contrary of that. Also, shower in the bathroom wet the whole bathroom. For the high price of the hotel, both things were quite unacceptable.

CanadaNo one told us that we were basically beside a night club. First night woken early AM (5 AM) with music blasting as apparently doing a sound check- off and on for 3 hrs. So loud bed was vibrating. We asked manager if we should move elsewhere as we need sleep. When you pay over 2K a night expect to be able to sleep. He reassured us that there is a law they need to shut things down by 12AM (which they had the night we went to sleep). Turned out that was not correct as then there was another party until 1:30 AM - staff informed us when we came back from dinner - again so loud whole room vibrating. We need to be up by 6:30 for the airport. The night inbetween we were up all night with shutters that were banging due to staff forgetting to secure them. We stayed 3 nights, paid over 6K and ended up exhausted. If you want rest stay elsewhere. We were assured manager would connect with us before we left about the issue but he did not.
Beautiful surroundings, design and art. ability to walk on beach into town.

United KingdomThe room was quite shoddy - hair grease stains on bed head, stained and ripped chaise longue, pictures hung crooked, smashed desk, stained bedside tables, broken bath plug, stained shower tiles, marks on walls. Hotel was virtually a ghost hotel...no one around and then a very loud wedding with drones encircling the grounds. Affiliated restaurant shut for season in the evening. But the kicker was that they wouldn't let us stay till 3pm to check out...mean. And beyond weirdly wouldn't draft a very short note to minute the fact we had stayed at Playa Vik for 4 days and Bahia Vik for 4 days to help me with customs. Oh and no TV.
Milly on the evening reception is a natural, as was the girl in the restaurant in the evening.The bed was divine. Sand dunes and lapping of sea gorgeous. Cleaners perfectionists. Location good.

United States of Americathe bungalow we were in was dingy (faded and discolored) and had an odd smell. the toilet ran constantly. for the price of the room, I would’ve expected more conveniences like a mini bar, usb outlets, perhaps a speaker set given there are no tvs (which wasn’t a problem). our patio didn’t have cushions on the chairs or umbrellas at the pools. they brought those out during the weekend but they weren’t out and available when we checked in during the week. the biggest thing that made me lower my survey score was that the hotel offered us a shuttle to/from dinner. they never mentioned that this would be a charge and in the states most times shuttles are free within a certain radius. we didn’t pay the driver either time but, not only wasn’t it free (it was added to our hotel bill), it was an exorbitant amount to go a couple miles round trip (~$36 for one round trip). perhaps this is expected locally, but they should have made it clear that this was a taxi at minimum.
the property location itself was amazing. really gorgeous. we were able to hear the ocean waves from our room. the staff were very friendly and the cleaning crew was top notch.
