United KingdomWe chose this hotel for our last 2 nights in Uruguay. We had an Executive Suite on the 10th floor overlooking the River and the City. The Hotel met our every need and expectation We took the opportunity t use the leisure facilities and watching the sunset from the rooftop jacuzzi was extraordinary. We dined in the hotel both nights and Felipe the restaurant manager was attuned to our every need with some excellent recommendations. We left the hotel totally satisfied and at the same time a little sad that our stay was over

United KingdomThe location is just great. Punta Carretas is a lovely area of the city. We stayed there for four nights after arriving from Europe and it was a relaxing introduction to South America. We had a corner room with a great view (see photograph).

The hotel itself, is a real gem. This is due to the following reasons. Number one is the staff……totally efficient and able to address and solve more complex travellers issues.As well, from front desk to room attendants, I was greeted each day with genuine enthusiasm regarding customer care. Number two is hotel amenities…….. gym, weights, mats, all with the rooftop view…… who wouldn’t want to work out!? 😃 And of course, the wonderful rooftop swim spa which you may book at your convenience for private use. Loved it. Number three is LOCATION….. it simply doesn’t get better than this sweet Punta Carretas neighbourhood. With the hotel right on the Rambla, there is shopping and the fantastic selection of restaurants all right around the corner. Meanwhile, back at the hotel, you have always got the wonderful view……

A very comfortable, rather ‘traditional‘ hotel with a good location. Best rooms have large terraces with great sea/city views. Nearby, a great shopping centre and many nice restaurants. (We were also unlucky enough to have a small medical emergency, and the support we received was exemplary.)

The property is right next to the ocean and our room had beautiful views. We liked the large room looking onto the water. The staff were exceptionally wonderful at the front desk, cleaning and the restaurant. The restaurant had wonderful food both for the breakfasts and the dinner.

CanadaThe price of the minibar stuff was insane. But I guess that's true for every hotel. Standard room is a bit small, so if you want to feel more comfy, get a bigger one.
Excellent location and room view! The restaurant downstairs offers great food and service. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again as well. The room has all the basics and the staff is nice and helpful.

The rooms are large and very pretty. The location is very good, close to both the Rambla and to the Punta Carretas shopping center. The breakfast was very good - with a self serve buffet plus you can also order from an "egg menu" that includes scrambled eggs, for free within the breakfast buffet, those are made to order.

Hotel was charming - room was huge - breakfast was ample and beautifully presented. Located across the street from the water - it was a nice area to walk in as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
