We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived, with welcome juice and very good fried noodles that we ordered from the restaurant. Luong and his wife are very sweet and attentive. We had two very comfortable nights and a delicious breakfast in the beautiful and peaceful garden. We even rented a scooter from the owner and enjoyed the surroundings. I highly recommend this special homestay!

The bungalow with the terrasse in the middle of the garden was perfect. The location, far from the city, but in the middle of the main touristic attractions Luong was very helpfull. He drove us around with his scooter and this was a very nice tour. He allowed us for a very late check out for free and prepared also dinner (good dinner 😉)

One of our best choices in Vietnam. Luong and his wife were the ideal hosts, we had much more than a homestay, it was our home while we stayed in Ninh Binh. Luong was also our guide and cared for us like we were his own family. The homestay is convenient with a nice garden, very well furnished rooms, great breakfast. We also had dinners which were plentiful and delicious.

Mr Luong is the most consummate host ever, going out of his way to provide the 3 best days we have had in Vietnam. He is also a great chef, brilliant tour guide and nothing is too much trouble. He is supported by his wonderful wife and 2 lovely sons.

That we couldnt stay longer.

We loved absolutely everything. The beautiful, peaceful courtyard and gardens, our large comfortable, clean ensuite room. But the absolute standout was the warmth, kindness and service we recieved from Mr Luong and his lovely family. We spent a wonderful 3 days. Mr Luong and his wife provided the most delicious breakfasts and dinners; we chose to eat at An Phu each day, it was that good (including fabulous vegetarian options for one of us). Mr Luong was very happy to share his extensive knowledge about the surrounding areas and give us some great ideas based on what we wanted to do and see. We used the bikes to ride out around the villages and Mr Luong came to the rescue when Grab taxi let us down. Highly recommend this lovely homestay in a quiet rural setting, that's close enough to all the local wonders and the hubub of the likes of Tam Coc if you want it.

Amazing place to Stay in Ninh Binh, Luong and his Wife run an excellent homestay, they are super friendly and willing to help. The room was large and very clean, the entire property is immaculately maintained, Dinner and breakfast cooked by Luong's wife was delicious Vietnamese home cooking. After being recommended to stay in An Phu Homestay, we were not let down… The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautiful area. Leung and his wife were so kind, helpful and caring, tending to our every need! They also organised two full day motorbike tour for us, showing us the best of Ninh Binh. Breakfast was easily catered to our dietary needs. Couldn’t recommend this Homestay more, it made our Vietnam experience 100% times better! We can’t wait to come back!

The room was very cosy, clean and comfortable. The garden surrounding the house is beautiful and the location is very quiet. We enjoyed the familiar atmosphere very much. The host is extremely friendly and helpful trying to solve our problems with getting the right bus for our onward travel. We liked the homemade banana pancakes as breakfast a lot and the opportunity to rent a motorbike for low cost made us very mobile getting easily to the important sights.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We loved the warm welcome and the friendly, engaging hosts, who did everything to make our stay memorable.The room was large, with air conditioning and a balcony. The home cooking was outstanding. The location is a little out of the tourist trap of Tam Coc, but all the attractions are easily accessible by taxi, moped or bike. I would wholeheartedly recommend An Phu Homestay to anyone looking to spend a few days in and around Ninh Binh.

Wow building and kinda chalet with lovely garden and plantation though in peaceful yet clean and much modernized village. Luong and his family, wife and 2 sons are very welcoming and kind. My second stay here and I will continue to recommend it to all visiting family and friends and hope to return regularly myself. Mr Luong is the most wonderful kind and considerate host and he and his wife cook delicious and generous meals so do order dinner! They go above and beyond in every respect and the driver they regularly use, Mr Ha is also superb. I cannot recommend highly enough!! They will help organise tours and help you get the best out of your stay in Ninh Binh - no matter what you want to do whilst providing a welcoming and spotlessly clean home away from home to come back to.

The stay at An Puh was amazing! The owners were so lovely, they spoke very good English and helped us rent a motocycle and find nice activities to do during our stay there (and with very little notice). The rooms were exceptional and the cleanest I ever saw before! The property garden was just so beautiful and the local food authentic and amazing! I would highly recommend everyone to stay there. If I am ever in the area again I sure will!

The room was large enough to accommodate four and the shower was hot. Mr. Luong and his wife are exceptional cooks who made the stay a really amazing experience. His knowledge of the local flora is vast, and exchanging stories with him was fun. He has a kind spirit and is very generous with his time. We asked for a couple of specific items for dinner and breakfast and he was happy to oblige, nothing outrageous, but seeing as to how he would do anything he can to make our stay more enjoyable was heartwarming. If you do stay with him, be sure to ask about seeing the “chim to dần”. We had a good laugh at that one.

Friendly host Clean room You can borrow a motorbike from host to go around. It's a bit difficult to call a taxi, however it is possible to rent a car nearby, at anytime.
