On arrival at the hotel I was told that they didn't accept credit or debit cards for payment. Told to pay cash. The hotel receptionist took $ and it was more than stated for my booking. She then crossed the street to a local shop where they exchange money. She returned and told me that the bill was now paid. Later, I realized that she had made at least $15 profit by doing this. I felt like I had been scammed, but it was not worth causing a commotion over it. I also had to ask for a receipt. Bed linen and pillows were very old and were stained. Bedroom furniture well worn, missing drawers. Light fitting hanging out of the ceiling as you enter the room. The Room, corridor and lobby looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly for years. The cleaning staff would come daily, but would only be in the room for less than 3 minutes. They would empty the bins, maybe make the bed. TV didn't work for 6 days, but eventually it was repaired.

The location of this hotel is good. Close to the beaches. Plenty of local restaurants in close proximity. The area was quiet and the streets were clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful especially the male receptionist who sorted out the electrical plugs for me.

Location of the hotel is fantastic, room was clean and well kept. Hosts English was not amazing but we we're still able to have what we needed and appreciated their effort! Property has a lift.

I know this happens in many hotels in VN, but smoking comes into my room a lot from other guests smoking in other rooms. It happens many times while I am in my room, other guests smoke inside the hotel and it comes directly into my room too. This is really unhealthy and poor facilities. Many Hotels do not respect health conditions and should have smoke detectors and smoke alarm in rooms. It would also protect the quality of their own property and make it easier to keep rooms fresh and ready to use quickly for new guests. Shower head/ shower spray was a bit broken and not convenient, hotel needs to fix the shower. But everything else was OK. Room 603.

Room 603, high floor, big windows and balcony. I could let natural air in and breeze, and lots of natural light. Big room, comfortable space. The ocean view is 50/50... It was nice, and I appreciate it, but not a clean view. Unfortunately a new hotel is being constructed directly in the view, so the ocean view now looks at some construction and in the future the view will be blocked by the hotel. Very sad this will happen to Dragon Sea. Right now the view and hotel price is really good value. I do like this hotel for the price. Also, staff service is excellent, friendly and active to help. Good team.

I had some shower installations and problems when I arrived,and it's an old hotel that needs some renovations. But for the value of money, and I wouldn't expect the moon. It's the perfect area in Da nang. especially for solo travellers.

The employees are very kind and good communicators. Even they helped me with some situation i had with my visa card ,specaily the coordinator of the hotel Bong,took the initiative.The location is just infront of the beach with all the easy access to groceries, places of interest.The chillness and fun sounds are all there,you can run,or do any activities at any time from outdoors of the hotel. And they have dedicated housekeeping.

GRIM Reception, Rooms Not nice, NO Hotel feel, like an old tatty house, not enough lighting, NOT a place to have holiday!! 😔 CONSTRUCTION work & dumping ground outside our room, view blocked with another building!! Not a nice place to have a holiday!! Very sad to see this hotel ...

ALL BAD, did not stay at the hotel, left the hotel straightway!! NOT received any money back!! 😔 We came in the DRAGON SEA HOTEL reception, it was aweful, hot & furnace feeling!! Gradually, with hot & bothered mind & body, we completed out checking in process, went to our room with our luggage, no helper for the luggages apart from the receptionist, we saw the room but straightway left the hotel, it was not like the photo/advert at all... Very upsetting!! 😔 We paid for the hotel, they took the whole amount for the full x5 NIGHTS, we did NOT STAY even x10 minutes at the hotel....!! Total money was wasted for x5 nights for x2 double Rooms. They told us to go to a different hotel for breakfast, we would not have that either!! Very upsetting!! 😔 Not the fault of the receptionist but the hotel took all our money, so, we were very upset with her, she will not refund any money!!

Bath area always stinks. Breakfast is bad. Curtains never washed for many years. You can smell that when you enter the room. i had to spray perfume all the time. Breakfast was pathetic and no value for money. Outside bike rental is only 100,000 but this hotel owner charged me 120,000 per day. Owner lady was always shouting and no proper communication. She might felt that she is providing everything for free. Only evening front desk person and other front desk worker lady were better. I got buffet breakfast in Ho Chi Minh for this same cost.

Nothing, worst properly I every visited, very unhygienic, staff was very arrogant and greedy for money, also take extra money from us for cleaning the bedsheets as well, no balcony with the room, no sea view as shown in pictures, not even have any breakfast available.

Hotel staff is really rude. They welcomed us with 'very cheap very cheap' and didn't want to give us breakfast because the price was too low. On the internet you could find this price everywhere.. it was just because we are European that we shouldn't have breakfast for this money. Had discussions with them and booking had to intervene because they were refusing no matter what. The air conditioning also died after one night (of 3) and we almost died in there. Half of the sockets didn't work. Didn't get the room with the partial ocean view we booked. Instead we received a room on the first floor with a look on the street.

The hotel is pretty close to the beach.
