We travel quite a bit and even though we know tropical countries come with a diversity of bugs and other animals, having mouse droppings falling from the roof and landing on the bed is a first. We’ve been in prime Hotels all over SE Asia and is my humble opinion that this place is not worth the price.

Super friendly and competent stuff. The entire resort is very clean and well kept. The swimming facilities were nice and in good condition. We also really enjoyed the massage treatments. Lastly, the food and service at Organic restaurant were exceptional.

Very far from most of main tourist sites. They do rental bicycle but it impossible to go anywhere! You better to find a rental bike shop near the hotel.

As we were checking out a staff member informed me that I would have to pay a 100k VND cleaning fee for a stain I left on one of the pillows. I asked to see a photo and was shown a mark from my lip balm, which washes right out with regular laundry detergent. I gently but firmly indicated that I wasn't going to pay a cleaning fee for a mark that wasn't a stain or any form of permanent damage and they relented, but considering the size and nature of the mark on the pillow I was really surprised they would bring it up at all, and disappointed. It soured the end of my experience and I wish that someone had shown a bit more judgement before determining that I should pay an extra fee for zero damage.

Gorgeous design and amazing landscaping. So peaceful and even though you had to walk a distance to get to the different areas, it was so beautiful that it was a pleasure.

- the lunch/dinner food: it was very expensive, and lacked flavor. because this hotel is quite isolated, you are stuck having lunch/diner at their restaurant, and the food didn’t meet expectations at all. the worst was the Vietnamese Set 2 (a third of that set did not taste good at all) - the rooms terrace didn’t have any chair/furniture to sit outside, which was very surprising - not only the bicycles were not in good shape, but also we had to pay to use them, which was quite surprising… especially since we stayed at other hotels in Vietnam which had much better bicycles which we could use for free

- Beautiful grounds with lots of trees and greenery - very friendly and helpful staff - great food diversity for breakfast (dumplings/buns, noodle soup…) and very tasty - even though the location is not the best (far away from most iconic sites), at least it was very close to the national park Dam Van Long

The resort, despite it's beautiful trimmings is not good value money - it's actually a greedy money grab. One particular incident left a very sour note for us. The Van Long nature reserve is literally 10 minutes walk away and the normal booking price at the ticketing office for a boatman is 70k per boat. The resort charged us over 200k per person for this "tour" for which all they did was save us the walk by dropping us with their golf cart. Their golf cart driver literally paid the ticketing office the basic fee and dropped us then came back it pick us up. So essentially we paid for the convenience of a 5 minute golf cart ride. I find this extremely greedy. A resort of this of this size should upfront be offering this information and/or even providing this drop off service for free to guests. This particular interaction ruined our opinion of the property

Ideally located (10 minutes walk from Van Long nature reserve - however see negative comments below), exceptionally beautiful and well maintained grounds, excellent breakfast and the dining menu at the restaurant was very good. Rooms are more like private bungalows and were clean and comfortable.

Quite far from the tourist attractions and there is no convenient store nearby in case you need to get anything.

Very big compound and the rooms are really spacious. lots of greenery and very quiet at night. The staff can communicate well in English and they are all really friendly and helpful.

Parts of the resort needs some maintenance (probably after covid lockdowns). There were few guests at the hotel when we stayed there.

Beautiful rooms and garden. The food was delicious and the facilities with gym, spa indoor pool etc were perfect for colder days. The setting is beautiful and well worth overnight stays and not just day tours from Hanoi.

Quiet and spacious rooms, buggy service to bring us around within the resort was good. We love their spa so we went twice in consecutive days

The location is great, we took a bike ride to the sorroundings and turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Staff was very attentive, particularly our tour guide Tom. The resort and architecture is very nice, great for stay close to nature.

Spacious and peaceful property, with large and comfortable rooms. The staff were very helpful, responsive and friendly. The tour that we took was also great and completely managed by the hotel - seamless.

Property needs some TLC, especially exterior paint and grounds. Exterior looks tired Staff not responsive to text messages or requests via Booking.com
