We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaI booked 1 double room and a twin room for my friend. However, my friend changed his mind later, so I cancelled the twin room and rebooked a double room for him. I've got a twin room cancelled confirmed message from Booking.com. A month later, when check-in, the receptionist insisted that I've booked 3 rooms even though I supplied her with the confirmed cancelled message from Booking.com. It took nearly 20 minutes before the receptionist handed me the room key and said she would investigate the problem later. 🤔
Close to CBD, there is a famous Trung Nguyen Legend coffee shop on the ground floor. Breakfast is good.

United KingdomWhat we didn't like was Phan Theit the town. Although it's on the coast there is no beach to speak of, it's all sea defences. There wasn't much to do either.. so in the end we cut short our stay and left after one day.
The hotel was lovely, no complaints!

SingaporeNo receipt given after paying cash in Vietnam dong during checkout. Hope my credit card will not be charged again since I could not produce any proof. Credit card was required during reservation made via booking.com. I checked my credit card on 17 SEP during checkout it was not charged. Same for my other rooms booked same via Booking.Com. USD cash payment is not accepted.
Friendly n helpful staff. English speaking is limited.

SingaporeNo English speaking counter staff. No receipt given after I paid cash (Vietnam dong) for our stay during checkout. I am worried if my credit card which was required during reservation through Booking.com, will be charged again since I could not produce any proof? Not sure is this the norm for hotel & booking made via BOOKING.COM not to issue receipt if paid in cash? USD cash currency payment is not accepted.
Location. Friendly staff from counter, lobby, chambermaids to bellboy. though spoken English is quite limited. Breakfast selection is good.
