Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicNothing. Everything was perfect.
My stay at Ti Hon House was perfect. It is the best accommodation I have booked so far in Vietnam. The room was very clean and spacious, furniture was new. The owner was very kind, gave me tips about good local restaurants and booked for me a great cooking class. Also prepared a ginger tea for me when I was feeling bad. The house is approx. 10 min of walking to the Hoi An old town and perfect for the ones who prefer quiet place during nights. I had wonderful time there.

Hong KongThat I had to leave… so I’ll be back!
Fantastic location - off the main strip but a short bike ride into town. Quiet/rural (there are cockerels, and crickets and I don’t mind either) and very private. One of the most beautiful places I have stayed at - the design and architecture is beautiful, practical, airy. The back room balconies look out over greenery and have the most gorgeous sunset view. You can swim any time you like, so chilling in the pool (quietly) at night is a great pre-bedtime routine, or a great way to start the day. Breakfast has lots of choice and is fantastic, the owners also know some great local places - definitely let them take you out for local breakfast!! Shower has good pressure and is warm - just watch out with flooding the bathroom - it gets a little slippery. Anything you like or need, they have good recommendations. Option to get massages etc in house.

ChinaThis property is perfect for a holiday to Hoi An. The property is in a wonderful quiet community away from any noisy roads so it’s peaceful at night and also really close to everything. Walking distance to all the popular spots. Has a wonderful swimming pool. Rooms are big and well furnished and clean and well managed.

United States of AmericaHoi An Ti Hon House was a stay and experience to remember! Hien and her staff are exquisite. The breakfast was delicious and we loved that Hien gave us the option to go out for breakfast during our stay too, so we could eat at local places well off the tourist track. Her attention to detail was impeccable. Hien arranged day tours for us and spa services at very reasonable prices. She even noticed how much we loved the bananas and made sure to bring us some everyday! Our room was so comfortable and clean. We stayed one week and our only regret was that we did not stay longer. If you are looking for a retreat with a local vibe and superb service/hospitality, then look no further. We booked the Hoi An Ti Hon House based on the glowing reviews and we are so glad we did. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. 10 stars for a PERFECT stay!

A real gem closed to the heart of old Hoi an I recommend to walk or bike to the old city throught the street along the river, so turn left and left again, instead of turning right at the end of the hotel street. The owner is a very nice and pleasant person, maintening a peaceful atmosphere, Studio is huge, room for two is big enough.

PolandWe loved everything :)
This was literally our best stay in Vietnam. I could easily give 11/10. Ms Hien and her husband are very kind and caring people. We booked our stay in Hoi An Ti Hon House early morning of the day of our arrival after I discovered that our previous hotel cancelled our booking. And it was the best thing that could possibly happen to us! Ms Hien responded very fast, she welcomed us early in the morning with her smile, breakfast and coffee. We could check in earlier and prepare for the day after a long journey. In Hoi An Ti Hon House we felt like in a spa. Rooms are very clean, well equipped and designed with taste. They even have spa service as well as private tours. Ms Hien is very very helpful and she always takes an extra step to help you with everything you could possibly need and takes care of her guests in the best possible way. She also provided us with very useful recommendations. We didn’t want to leave at all :) I highly recommend Hoi An Ti Hon House, we will be back for sure!

FranceThe only downside: the neighboring chickens make noise at dawn.
Our stay in Hoi An Ti Hon House was clearly AMAZING. The location is close to the center but in a quiet street, the bedroom is large and very beautiful, the bed is very good and the pool is stunning…The host is so sweet, so kind and very helpful when we need to have recommendations about restaurants, activities and sightseeing tours. The icing on the cake: breakfasts are very fresh and tasty every day! Huge thanks to our host, always there to help & advice us. We couldn’t have hoped better stay and welcome in Hoi An. Thanks again and see you soon!

The rooms were luxurious and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was also great, and they even took us out to breakfast at a local spot as part of the included breakfast. United KingdomI really loved this place. My only note is to solo female travellers. The guest house is situated in a small lane and is not staffed at night. Hoi An is a very safe place but if you are nervous about being alone you may have to consider this.
This is a really beautiful guest house with only six rooms, situated in a small lane, about 1km from the centre of Hoi An. All of the rooms are well equipped and beautifully decorated. I believe two of the rooms are suites I stayed in the smaller room, which was very comfortable and has a lovely balcony. All of the towels and bed linen are like new. Best of all is the host, Hien, a lovely woman who always wants to make sure that guests are happy

The owners were so attentive. We arrived late on New Years Eve and the owner invited us to celebrate with the neighbours - so kind. The neighbours were also friendly the whole time. Breakfast was awesome, and we even borrowed their motorbike. Nothing was a problem. Clean apartment. We couldn't fault anything. There was a laundry room you could use yourself or could be done for you. At the heart of the local community and ten mins walk from the old town. Would definitely recommend

United KingdomNo dislikes at all. Would definitely stay again. Be aware that Nien lives a small distance away - it’s not a hotel; but she was there every day to provide breakfast at a time to suit us and e.g she came specially one afternoon when she had arranged for our massages to ensure everything was set up perfectly. We were the only guests at the time we were there (two women) and might have felt a little nervous in the property but Nien’s lovely husband who is a tour guide came and slept there. A big group would have the house to themselves
Beautifully designed stylish rooms with small pool. Very comfy beds. Lovely linen. Lots of greenery. Located 10 minute walk from centre in a rural feeling area overlooking green space away from the bustle that is Hoi An. The walk into town via the river is quiet and scenic. As said in other reviews Nien was extremely helpful and thoughtful organising massages and trips; train transfers, bikes and taking us to breakfast. There is spa equipment there and the massages / other therapies come to you. It is clearly really important to her that guests are comfortable and happy.

AustraliaAmazing warm and caring owners, beautifully architecture designed building, nice green open view out the back, comfortable bed and quiet location off the main streets. You can see the attention to the finer details throughout which you would expect more from a 5 star boutique hotel. The breakfast was a great combination of Vietnamese and Western items to choose from and they invited me to explore the next days some of their favourite breakfast restaurants in town. They organised an in room massage which was one of the best I have had in a long time traveling and living through Asia. They also helped with sending me to an amazing tailor and shoemaker that they knew and trusted and organised my tours also during my stay.

The place looks like what you see from the photos. Very clean and cozy! My family members love it a lot. Too bad that we reach quite late and don’t enjoy the facilities much but kids love the pool a lot :) The living room is spacious enough for 15 of us. However, the table is a bit low for proper dining. The host and her staff are very friendly, English communication is no issue too. I really recommend if you have a big group!!!

United KingdomThe wet room took some getting used to but we got there!
Fantastic first impressions as we were greeted by our host, welcome drinks and fruit selection. The hotel was stunning and featured an indoor pool, cosy communal area and huge windows giving an outlook over Hoi An and the surrounding area. We were so well looked after during our stay, nothing was too much trouble and we got to know our host over the two nights that we were there. Things our host helped organise: Taxi from the train station (much appreciated after an overnight train), laundry, local recommendations and onward travel to Hue. Thank you!

We had the most incredible time staying here! It was even more amazing than we expected. The hosts were so welcoming and happy to help us, they even took us to some incredible local breakfast places on a couple of the days. The bed was comfier than some of the beds when we've stayed in five star hotels and the room had a beautiful view and was so clean! The homestay itself was in a really great location, a super easy walk to get to the old town and see the sites. It was also lovely having the swimming pool and spa treatments available to us, especially as there was a lot of rain on one of the days we stayed, it was such a lovely space to relax in. I would highly recommend!

Tihon House will absolutely be the only place I’ll stay in Hoi An. The house is absolutely gorgeous and stunning, with all the amenities you could ask for. Rooms are equally well equipped and gorgeous. The stand out of this accommodation would have to be the hosts, who went out of their way to arrange all our activities which were great. They made breakfast each day to order and were so amazing. Highly recommend.
