There are ALOT of steps, so be prepared if you have a lot of luggage (it may be best to prepare a smaller bag for the nights you stay here)

The views from our lodge were beautiful! Even on a rainy day in Wilderness! The braii facilities were easy to use and the lodge was comfortable and safe. Good location. We would definitely return and stay for longer!

We had an amazing stay these days in the Boardwalk Lodge. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Views and House were breathtaking. Waking up in the middle of the nature was amazing! Wilderness was a beautiful place and we will definitly come back to these amazing Wood Houses in the calm forest.

Nothing not to like.

Boardwalk Lodge was great, easy to find and check in was simple. The staff were great and gave us all the information we needed and some tips for out and about. The porter was especially good as he carried one of our cases up the 117 steps to our lodge. The view from our terrace was worth every step, amazing views over the whole of Wilderness. A great base for exploring the surrounding area.

The Boardwalk Lodge is fab! Incredible views of Wilderness, as it's so high up. Therr are a lot of stairs but totally worth it. The lodge is so bright, spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Would highly recommend.

The views from the room were breathtaking. There are a fair amount of stairs to climb but it is all worth it when you reach your unit and soak in the beauty of the Wilderness coastline. The room in general was well equipped, neat and tidy, from the bathroom, to the kitchen to the lounge area. Any requests we had were promptly responded to and actioned. The lodge kept us up to date on loadshedding schedules and the unit was equipped with emergency lights and a gas stove in the event of loadshedding. The lodge is well located within the town and is a short walk from the main restaurant street.

Poor wifi in the chalet. 130 stairs to the chalet - but if your knees work well it is not too bad.

Beautiful and well equipped chalet in the forest, stunning views. Nice gas-fireplace for the cold nights. Friendly & helpful staff.

Cannot say that there's anything we didn't like, but if you decide to book unit 5, the best unit I think, be prepared to climb, be really prepared to climb. It's a 155 steps, UP!

It’s a given with the type of property but you are open to the elements.

Amazing views over the garden route! Thoughtful to include heaters and a fire in the winter months. You can hear the waves of the ocean. Open plan and lots of windows

The view is amazing and the unit is spacious and comfortable. Both bedrooms are en-suite, which is great. The location was great, staff very helpful and friendly! Will definitely stay there again.

Not a lot, but be warned if you are unfit it is long hike up steep staircases to get to the top lodges !
