View is amazing from Diggers Lodge. There is a pool. The road is a little tough to get to the venue in rain.

Just had 2 restless nights with the dog barking in front of unit and not sure if he/she sleeps in- or outside as owners not home. Key issue for units was bit of a problem due to valuables in the units (we all in working mode unfortunately) and then units was not clean one day. Requested bath towels from Maria as we short some in one of the units, never attended to it.

Out of the city, calm and clean air done us all good. Wellington real friendly person as he answered all our questions on the fish, trees etc. So many opportunities for this place to grow some veggies and sell to the people who will be using the units. We forgot eggs and Wellington was able to assist us with 4 eggs needed. Fresh from the farm :-) how awesome!

The 3km sand road from the main road R71 was sometimes difficult to navigate without a 4x4 due to the excessive rainfall this last week. Would be fine for a normal car once it's dried out.

Stunning guesthouse in a beautiful location with amazing views. Very helpful host who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable even though we had a power shortage. Luckily for future guests they are busy installing a solar system and will be completely off the grid shortly.

We ran out of gas, but Johannes replaced the gas bottle in less than 10 minutes. We will certainly be returning.

Beautiful view, tranquil atmosphere, friendly staff. This is our second time for the year and the owner Johannes remembered us and extended a warm welcome. Dogs are friendly and well mannered. despite load shedding they made provision by fitting gas stoves and gas geysers. They also have load shedding lights fitted. Well prepared.

The one young dog on the property barked often during the night. The dirt roads leading to the property are narrow and not in good condition. I would not like to drive those roads at night.

I was able to switch the bright outside lights off during the night. Ample lamp and candlelight were available to use in case of load shedding. Quiet and peaceful. I overpaid the owner through my mistake. He paid the overpaid money back the same day.
