Sadly we couldn't go for the game drive because of the weather

The wild animals roaming around made the place beautiful, rooms were clean and welcoming, the views from the pools area are amazing

The evening meal was adequate, but we did expect a choice of main course.

The lodge was easily found. The room was comfortable and the verandah views exceptional. Sun-downers around the pool helped us unwind after a long day. The morning game drive was the highlight. A substantial breakfast rounded off our wonderful stay, being watched by the resident guinea fowl

There is nothing not to like!

We so enjoyed our two days stay at this little lodge. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the meals presented were very tasty. They packed us a delicious picnic breakfast for when we went into the main park. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. A bonus is the game drives offered from the lodge, where an abundance of game was spotted.

I’d prefer if no food of wild animals (eg snacks during the game drives) would be offered out of respect to the animals.

Modern and stylish room with an African touch Game drives with Happy who was a great and very friendly guide Very friendly team Pool and relax area

Was very calm at the time we were there - not a bad thing but maybe to consider for some people

Staff is very friendly and is what made our stay so special. Sofisso (hope I wrote it correctly) was very knowledgeable about the wildlife when we went on the game drives. Nice views from te central area and very good food. As we went to a national park very early, they made us a breakfast basket to take with us. Room and facilities were great as well, no issues. Our car got cleaned before we would leave. All in all a very great experience and I would recommend this Lodge 100%!

Beautifully designed place, lovely terrace, pool area, pretty rooms. Great staff throughout. The game drive was special, too, and the Ranger was a nice guy, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. We enjoyed our drive with him very much. Food was also really, really good. Even the breakfast packs (which are usually a bit of a let-down compared to the normal on-site breakfast) were way better than at other accommodations. Great place!

Vegetarian food could have been better, given how amazing the meat options looked.

Amazing location, exceptional staff who went out of their way to ensure we had the best stay. Perfect base to go and explore different game reserves and areas. We went on a few game drives within Duiker Lodge which were great, and they organised drinks and snacks for us. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and cleaned by staff every day. Beautiful views out over the countryside.

Although it was no fault of there own, we had really poor weather, so the game drives were shortened. They did there very best, but unfortunately we didn't get to see as many animals that we would have liked.

The staff were excellent and made our stay very comfortable, regardless of the weather. The food was good for both the breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the stay.

The room was spacious and functional. It was great to see wildlife from the room. Sadly due to the weather we didn't do a game drive. The staff were friendly and helpful. Appreciated the efforts to make the room hypoallergenic.

The swimming pool is very small - just a plunge pool.

Duikker Game Lodge is part of a 400 hectare estate with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and countryside. The game drives on the estate were great - there is a higher density of animals than in the bigger national parks. And since there are only 6 rooms, you might well be the only guests on the drive. Its a wonderfully peaceful place to stay and the sounds of Africa in the evening are wonderful.
