I asked for a pescatarian option and I was blown away by what was offered, each meal was an experience. It was wonderful to be surrounded by nature and the massages at our was incredible , I would highly recommend this experience to any couple looking for a romantic get away

One of the staff members were on their phone the whole time and was not paying attention to the guests in the restaurant. Normally it would not be a problem but a spillage had happened and it took another staff member at least three tries to get her attention.

Everyone was very welcoming. They took dietary requirement very serious. The rooms were absolutely brilliant. The food was great and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The family enjoyed it and would absolutely go back.

The bed was uncomfortable, two beds pushed together, and you could feel the hard seams down the middle of the bed.

The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic. General Manager Morne is an excellent host and really made us feel welcome. Beautiful room, very romantic 😍

The only gripe I have is I couldn't stay longer!

I was seeking a mini escape to refresh and recharge and Forum Homini enabled me to do just that. The suite and food were amazing but the staff made it memorable. I felt instantly welcomed and at home. Service was both attentive yet discrete and a special shout out must go to Wendy, Michael and Thomas who helped make my stay so special. I didn't want to leave and hope to be back again when time allows.

This place is a must tick on your bucket list. If you want to spoil your loved one, this is the place to be!! Awesomeness from the 1st second you enter - fantastic staff, facilities, vibe and food. We enjoyed the mid-week stay, as it was quiet, relaxed and just priceless. We enjoyed the privacy, our own private jacuzzi with the bonus sparkling wine on ice - perfect for our 20th wedding anniversary. Everything was absolutely 110% - can't think of another place that will beat this awesomeness...

The problems isn’t with Forum Homini, the hotel self is great. The problem is that neighboring farms play very loud music into the early hours of the morning.

The rooms are looking a little tired - the bathrooms could do with some refreshing and the old, faded astroturf outside the rooms should be discarded

It is so peaceful and the setting is idyllic. We had a blissful afternoon sitting overlooking the dam and playing scrabble - we were fed delicious chicken wings! The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Wonderful 6-course fine dining menu, with wine-pairing, and a fine view over the dam ... don't miss this! I love the fact that it's 50 minutes from my door to yours, perfect for a quick romantic one-night getaway from JHB or Pretoria. Loved wallowing in the pool, and in the bath in the room, which is practically the same size as the pool, haha!

I really have to look deep and be a stickler for detail to find fault. I personally didn't enjoy the 4th course of our dinner as it was too sweet for my taste. This was the first 5 star experience I was responsible for and I wish I was more educated about the tip procedure and how some of the things work. I'm sure we'll get more comfortable with experience.

I really have very little I didn't like so let me tell you the exceptional parts that went far above my expectations. We were served by Morne himself for dinner, Michael Nhlapo does the things with the pots (awesome cook), Michael the waiter taught us a lot about wine. From what I could gather the hotel was fully booked but so much space and attention was available and given to us. So much more can be said so in a nutshell it's a 5 star experience.
