Very minor but I struggled to open the door out to the main terrace on some occasions.

I loved the views, both from the main terrace overlooking the sea, and my room terrace which overlooked the twelve apostles. I loved the decor of the rooms and living room. The breakfast was very generous and delicious and it was super helpful to have the option to take a voucher to a local cafe on the day that we got up early for a parkrun. Wolfgang and Suzanne were very welcoming and I really appreciated their flexibility to let me stay until mid afternoon when my transfer picked me up.

Bakovenbay Luxury Suites is a great choice. An intimate property, located in a quiet area. Super nice and helpful hosts. Tasty and very nicely served breakfast seated on the terrace or in the common area. A nice terrace with sun loungers and a jacuzzi overlooking the mountains and the ocean. Garage available if you have a car. Overall a very nice experience - highly recommended!

Everything seems to be said already. This is a really, really nice place to stay in, both the house itself and Camps Bay. Cosy, spacious room with a fantastic view, delicious breakfast, a big garage in the house should one need it and even an elevator! Lots of advice about what to do and where to eat. Suzanne and Wolfgang have created a home away from home.

A beautiful room in a stunning camps bay setting. There’s beaches and restaurants at walkable distance. Next time we’d stay here for longer. Our room was stunning and our hosts were incredibly kind, allowing us a later check out and looking after us with a delicious breakfast. Strongly recommended.

We had the best stay at Bakovenbay. Wolfe and Suzanne were such gracious hosts and were always available and incredibly responsive! The view from our room was a treat to our eyes! ❤️ The room was very clean and all amenities mentioned in the property details are very accurate. This area is comparatively safer than the city side. Would 100% recommend this property to everyone. 👍

This establishment is truly exceptional. While the room itself may be modest in size, it is super cozy. The common area has a museum-like vibe, but is still great to chill and relax. The balcony has an amazing view. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, which contributes significantly to the overall positive atmosphere.

I liked everything about my stay and I would highly recommend staying here! The owners are super friendly and very hospitable. The location is great. You can easily walk to Camps Bay or catch an Uber which is cheap. My room had an amazing view of Lion's Head which I loved waking up to everyday. The breakfast was also superb! It was also really nice relaxing on the sun beds and having a dip in the plunge pool.

Extremely welcoming and friendly hosts Wolfgang and Suzanne, . Nothing was too much trouble and very easy to contact. The first night I arrived I was helped to find somewhere to eat and even given a lift. beautiful house and rooms, the area felt extremely safe for a solo female traveller. Room was stunning with amazing views, clean, comfortable.

Bakovenbay Luxury suites accommodation is very professionally run and is a great place to base yourself if visiting Cape Town. Breakfast is excellent and has a choice of fresh fruit, rolls, cereals etc or if you prefer a cooked breakfast you can take your breakfast any time of the day at the Bootlegger Cafe just down the hill from the house with a voucher provided if that is your preference. Wolfgang and his wife are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Camps Bay offers good beach and restaurants and the Red hop on off bus stop is quite close to the house and is a must if new to the area. There are three rooms one facing the sea, and two in the rear of the property overlooking Table Mountain and Loins Head with pleasant balconies. We had a mountain view room which was very comfortable, with good shower and room facilities. We stayed 8 nights and were sad to leave and if in Cape Town again this is where we will look first for accommodation.
