The only thing that I wished for was for the pool to be heated.

I loved how beautiful the villa was, it had everything we needed. We loved the fact that while relaxing outside on the balcony we see animals. We loved our private pool, just wished it was heated though. But overall it was a beautiful getaway for my birthday. We also loved having to relax on the couch while the fire place is on.

The only issue was the road to get there. We travelled in a small car and it was quite challenging!

Beautiful log cabin, really well furnished and comfortable- perfect for a weekend away. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Great lodge, not too far from Johannesburg to get away and get some peace and quiet. The tent was a wee bit cold, as expected, but it was a great experience nonetheless.

This is our second time staying at Ikaya LamaDube. I absolutely adored the space. The attention to detail that they implement makes things so special. The staff was absolutely immaculate, and they are extremely helpful and friendly. The location of the place was extraordinary. We had the best sightings in the surrounding areas from Cheetah to Leopards, the Martial Eagle. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Would definitely return!

Enjoyed every minute of our stay, the luxury villa is absolutely breathtaking and has a nice view of the bush. Friendly staff and close to two restaurants.

The parking space is too small for a larger car, so we ended up parking parallel to the unit. Consider just moving it anyway?

The tent was warmer than expected. The verandah was nice and spacious. The boma was a winner. Kitchen is well equipped. Loved the privacy and quiet that this lodge and unit provided.

I split my booking into two as my plans changed - so I have the opportunity to review this place twice. And thankfully so, as there isn't enough time nor space to write all the fantastic things about this property. I have found my true slice of heaven, and this will be my new yearly retreat from the UK. The staff, the villa, the location, and the surroundings all make for an exceptional stay!

What an amazing property. Communication with the owners was fantastic right from booking. The lodge was well located and easy to find, signposted clearly from every approach road. On arrival we were greeted with a lovely drink and a hot towel whilst we filled out some paperwork, and then we're promptly showed to our lodge. The property was immaculate, with a heart in petals on the bed, and other beautiful little touches for our arrival. The view from the decked area is simply stunning, and we had some incredible wildlife sightings from here alone; Giraffe, Zebra, Spotted Hyena, Warthog, Impala, Hartebeest etc! Arlington Brewery, and "The Slide" are both nearby, giving great options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks if you don't want to go to the effort yourself. We will most definitely be back!

The Hide away cottage is very private and well equipped. The scenery is so beautiful the staff is very welcoming and is very attentive. I was very impressed with the level of attention to detail they had and they even made the room setup romantic when we arrived. There’s also daily room cleaning services.

The roads are not made for small cars but it's off-road so I guess this is implied..

The villa was wonderful, clean. The staff were friendly and really meticulous when cleaning. The villa's location was near a waterhole and salt lick - which led to attracting zebra, wildebeest and giraffes. We made use of the Ngiri Safari's sunrise game drive, alongside the mobile spa services of Shazz' Mobile Spa which involved the masseuse setting up at the villa for us.

There was no power when we arrived, it came back a few hours before sunset, and then again Saturday from midday there was no power. In the evening it was on and off until we checked out on Sunday

Just an hour and a half from the hustle and bustle, this tranquil beautiful lodge lies in the Dinokeng Game Reserve, the staff are attentive and helpful, the place is spotless, we highly recommend it!!
