Everything was fantastic, nothing to improve!

What a fabulous stay! Staff were so accommodating, friendly and completely made me feel at home. The room was spacious, clean and luxurious. Fantastic breakfast (well needed after a few wine trams in the local area!). The location is so quiet that you can't help but to relax! Karin went above and beyond making sure I was able to get to and from a local wedding, by recommending a fantastic taxi driver Tyrone. He was so professional, informative and reliable-a must book if you are staying here. I honestly was so sad to leave as it is such a beautiful place with such beautiful people working there- thank you again team for making a solo traveller feel so at home!

Everything was amazing!

Karin is a really great host and she also makes the best breakfast. Communication was easy and check in and out was very flexible. This place is wonderful, so peaceful and very quiet and has a lot of vineyards and restaurants around. Every time again!

What a wonderful stay we had at Welmoed Guesthouse! Beautiful cottage, delicious breakfast and VERY friendly staff. Additionally, the location is perfect. The location is amazing, surrounded by vineyards. It's really peaceful. The staff is very friendly and Karin, the host, will help you with everything. She can give you so many tips about the area and she's very friendly!

We had to make use of a Uber a couple of nights, but the driver could not enter the premises on arrival one night, apparently there was no reaction to his request to enter for the pick up…. we were charged though, by Uber for the drive from Stellenbosch to the security gate of the property.

we loved the quiet surroundings! And although it was fully booked, our every request were met promptly. Karin recommended the restaurant on the way to the Guest house, Copper Kettle. The food was magnificent!

Nothing to Complain about

This was our 3rd Time staying in Klein Welmoed Luxury Guesthouse. We just Love Their cottages. This Time we were travelling with our 2 Little Ones (Almost 2 years and 5 months old). We got a beautiful and Comfy cot for Both of them. The Estate is beautiful and has a very relaxing atmosphere. We Are planning on returning Next year😃

We enjoyed the tranquil location. It was so lovely to have breakfast in the garden and enjoy the birds. The rooms were lovely and the bath was a bonus as was the ability to purchase the Foothills wine with an honesty system. Also loved the lakeside walk.

The place was in a beautiful scenic area and was easy to find. The guest house is safe, and I felt secure at all times. The room was warm and cosy, and the food was freshly made and tasty. I will be going back.
