TV with DSTV is useless in 2024, time for smart TVs that allow guests to use their own streaming services. Corridors need something to break the monotony, they’re very sterile, especially when the common areas downstairs, restaurant etc, are really vibrant and welcoming. Feels like a hospital once you get to the room areas. Room service didn’t work on the night I was there, room service comms device turned out to be DISCONNECTED from the internet, and thus they weren’t receiving room service requests from guests. Lost revenue opportunity! I like the attempt though to streamline access through WhatsApp.

Well located for access to business end of Durban, lovely staff, enjoyed the design of the common areas, room is adequate, Food was good.

Due to high crime we weren't able to explore Durban on foot.We did walk to the sea front as there was a good police presence in this area. The hotel gym had very limited equipment with no exercise bike, running or rowing machine.

Just to make the cleaning staff aware of the cleanliness of corridors is important so as to maintain the high level of quality standards.

The WhatsApp number to place an order was unattended until I checked out there was no response, it said my order will be delivered shortly..... I'm in Las Vegas now I'd assume the order is on the way to room 503. There were no towels in the room , some lights didn't turn off unless you remove the card , the floor was dusty

The room wasn't clean for my liking, The bed cover was smaller than the comforter, The room has a wet smell, there was no mop or mat for whan you come out of the shower, The airconditioning didn't warm up the room only cold air, The buffet dinner didn't have options you had to eat what they wished up

I like how the stuff welcomed us, an gave us the room when we arrived in the morning before check in, it was perfect for us. The stuff is very friendly we got everything we asked for but sometimes they would forget that we asked for something then we ask again but it was great.
