How windy it was outside

The bedside lamps were too dim for reading in bed. The porch for parking a car is very small, but there was a parking space on the road outside the house. Parking therefore not "secure" as in behind a locked gate, but the location and steep roads made that type of crime highly unlikely.

Location wonderful, view from front apartment stupendous, but the one extremely steep hill made driving an interesting challenge. Loved the quality of the bed linen. There is more than ample cupboard space if one is staying for any extended period of time. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The welcome by Marc was really friendly and as animal-lovers we enjoyed the attention of the pets.

I like the location as well as the hospitality of the host. It is a lovely walk to the beach. It basically is a home away from home.

Private apartment with a beautiful view of Gordon's Bay. There is a nature hike easily accessible from the apartment. Free private parking also available. Hosts are extremely friendly and offer tons of advice/activity options. We loved our time here. We will be back!!

Was selfcatering, so we made our own breakfast. We had a stunning view while we enjoyed our 5 star breakfast.😉 The host couple, view, pool and the stay there, was exceptional.

Marc's place is a comfortable stay with an exceptional view. It is perched on the mountainside with a view over the bay and mountains behind with spectacular sunsets.. The unit had everything you need for a long stay and laundry facilities are nearby. Marc is a very responsive host and provided lots of local tips.

I think the Balcony can do with some covering especially on those windy nights

There is no protection on balcony from the sun or wind. We were there in winter and it was a little windy and cold. Glass panels or drop down screens would solve this problem. I imagine it would be very hot on the balcony during summer.

Great view from small balcony fitted with braai and table and two chairs. Very clean and had all the appliances one needed. Very good feature was inverter system, so not affected by load shedding.

The parking is very tight in the carport so we just parked outside on the road. This isn’t a problem really as it is a cul-de-sac so not much traffic at all.

The location and amenities. It had everything you would need for a wonderful holiday and the hosts were fantastic with lots of tips for the local area. The views and sunsets from the balcony were just amazing. Highly recommended and great value for money. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Stayed 3 weeks and place was fully equipped. Hosts were excellent, condo was spacious by North American standards, being off-grid meant no load-shedding issues and water pressure was great. Great views, comes with a hillside climb, but what great exercise.
