Although it was very nice to have a private parking lot, it was relatively small and difficult to maneuver. The pool and Jacuzzi were not very clean. But I think the storm a few days before our arrival was probably to blame.

The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The hotel was very well signposted and we had no trouble finding it. The rooms are very large and have balconies. We lacked nothing in terms of equipment. Christian, one of the hotel staff, was kind enough to act as our guide for an afternoon exploring the city. It was so nice of him to take us to see the different points of interest in the city and explain everything to us.

Good budget alternative. Also liked that it felt like a very local hotel - as in ”driven by locals”. Not part of bigger hotel franchise. Based on other 4-star hotel in South Africa (says 4-star on google maps) I would say that you can expect this to be more of a 3-star. Shower ran out of hot water if you shower late 8-9 pm, due to all other guests have used all hot water. Nothing included in minibar, that it usually is on hotels in South Africa. Specially if its rated 4-star on google maps. Pool area small but not crowded, and not too fun to hand out there, we mainly used the balcony that was great but no sea view.

Good location and great staff! Great to be able have parking included as we had a rental car for 2 days to not let car stand out on the street.

bedside lampshades were loose and tired. Old fashioned TV and poor selection of TV channels.

Breakfast was great. Liked the selection of breakfast cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt. Great selection of hot foods and eggs cooked to perfection. The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the whole place and secure on site parking made our stay very pleasant.

Parking space is very tight. Luckily we rented a small car.

We liked the very spacious room with the balcony. Beautiful bathroom and shower. They have a solar heated swimming pool. Breakfast was sufficient. Location was excellent. Close to everything. Lovely little boutique hotel with friendly staff.

We were there on recommendation with friends that were with us. They were very disappointed on the size and position of the rooms we got. The breakfast was below average and the coffee machine was not easy to work with. there should be a complimentary bottle of water in the rooms.

The safe didn't work in my room, but I didn't need it (just keep in mind or ask to change the battery). Also you couldn't use the pool (at least when I stayed), if it is important for you. But you can ask for jacuzzi

I liked the atmosphere in the hotel, it is friendly and comfortable. The staff is affable. Nice and comfortable furniture. The place is safe. Also at the reception I got the adapter to charge my gadgets. The breakfast doesn't offer many choices but it was good and tasty.

We had accommodation with breakfast and were disappointed that we did not prepare a package as we had an early morning flight. A bad experience was when they brought us moldy toast for breakfast.

The pool and hot tub weren’t very clean. The balcony furniture could do with an upgrade.

The room was perfect, very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location. We asked for a room with a pool view and were able to see the sea so it was lovely sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down. Breakfast was great although we would have liked to see more non-cooked options.

Breakfast was amazing, filled my in-laws up for the whole day. It was a winter anniversary gift so it was cold but they said it was really warm inside and the workers were really accommodating and polite. My in-laws don't drive so hot spots were just a 5-10min away for them or 2min uber.

Not informed about daily power cuts! Got stuck outside property first night with no manual key to get in (this was given this thereafter) Some condiments were out of date! Unable to use milk for coffee in room in morning Workmen working for whole day above room so unable to relax at all - not informed about this prior to trip
