The staff was amazing! They responded very quickly on booking.com chat to any questions. The rooms and bathrooms are large especially coming from Paris. It is very clean. The location is perfect in a little town and 30 seconds to the bus stop to take you to a popular 14km hiking spot. The restaurant in the hotel is Also very good. The location is secluded, about an hr drive from the Gorges du Verdon where we'd visited for the day, and stayed of Trigance enroute back to Nice. I loved the fact that it was a Castle, it was unlike any other accommodation experience we'd had in France, just so majestic. It also felt more like a 4 star and not 3 star as rated because of the great service, cleanliness, room size and comfort, restaurant option, and just general feeling of the place.
