Everything about Marton Grange is exceptional; the accommodation is extremely comfortable, clean, attractive and well-maintained. The outdoor areas are also very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent; a good range of choices, tasty fresh food, and very impressive service.

Gifty is an exceptional host, super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were perfect as I was traveling with my 2 children so we had a family room- and Grandparents had a twin room. Very flexible check in, we arrived a little later than expected due to traffic and Gifty sent helpful details for how to let ourselves in. The rooms are immaculate and there were many little touches really demonstrated a desire to make people feel comfortable. Each room had a jar of coffee rather than tiny sachets (eco friendly and allowed you to have more than a single drink!) The kids loved the little chocolates and cookies in the room and the breakfast the next morning was superb! Full english with poached eggs that were cooked to perfection and a range of cereals and juices too. Sonia whoo was helping out with breakfast is wonderful, really friendly and funny. The hotel itself is ideally situated for walking down to South beach and also for having a wander around the shops and harbour area. As the hotel had a parking space available Gifty even allowed us to leave our car during the day after we checked out so that we could explore and spend the day at the beach. (we were only staying the 1 night after a day at Eden camp on check in day and a planned day at the beach after checking out) A fantastic stay and as we currently live overseas i'd say we will be making this an annual stop when we return each summer. An absolute lovely hotel. All the staff were friendly and the front of house staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! Everything we could want and more. We also had the Sunday lunch carvery and loved it. We loved the hotel so much we booked our next visit before we left. Highly recommend! A gem of a hotel.

Breakfast was nice and a full English. The room was one that had been fully updated, beds extremely comfortable and a great modern bathroom with a bath and separate shower. We had dinner on 2 nights of our 3 night stay and the food was excellent. All the staff we saw were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for all it has to offer
