Staff are really accommodating and loved the touch of being shown to our room. We stayed in the “leather” room which was tastefully decorated. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was hot and had good pressure. Breakfast was amazing - definitely recommend the full English, the black pudding was delicious!

Spacious and comfortable room that even though at street level facing the main road neither traffic noise nor street lights affected my sleep at night. Although I didn't require it, my room (the only one available when booking) was set up for and should suit people with limited mobility. The better quality toiletries are a welcome relief from the usual hotel offering. Breakfasts at my own window table each morning included well selected choices and the bonus of having your hot food cooked to order. Derek and Lez will gladly accommodate special requests and needs. There are plenty of places for meals within walking distance as well as a supermarket a couple of doors away.

Room was very clean, with tea and coffee making facilities and a tv. Bathroom was small but adequate and very clean. I didnt get to use the Spa as we were at a party and had to get back early in the morning.
