This was the most beautiful hotel we stayed in. it was so unique and eclectic and so many spots to explore and relax. I fell asleep on the top patio because it was so comfortable, calming and relaxing.

Where to start?!!! When I got at the Riad, Amina welcomed me with a delicious tea and FOOD. I was so hungry and thirsty and that was just perfect. Than she showed me my room and all the comum areas. What a lovely place, I could tell she takes care of her place with so much love. How about the breakfast?!!! What was that?!!! Not just delicious, but the presentation was 5 stars. If it wasn't enough, a couple times when I was at the terrace doing some work in my computer, I was surprised with a plate with fresh and cold fruits, in a hot day like that, I couldn't have had anything better than that. I would like to thank Amina and her lovely family for having me as their guest.

The hospitality at Dar El Rio was incredible. The owner, Mohamed Ali and all the staff were very warm, went out of their way to make my family comfortable (I was travelling with my parents and parents in-law who are all senior citizens) and were super attentive to their needs. It is rare to have such consideration extended and it was done effortlessly and with a smile. The breakfast was generous and excellent, served on the terrace with a stunning view. Recommendations for lunch and dinner were also spot on. If you're looking for warmth, comfort and a feeling of being welcomed like family, Dar El Rio is the place to go to.
