This was a last minute booking for me as I did not initially plan to travel to Fes but was pleasantly surprised that the peppery feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostal, however, my opinion is based on a private room booking. I met other guests that stayed in a dormitory and they were also happy. The staff was pleasant and extremely helpful, including help with last minute tour bookings. The private room where I stayed is in a separate courtyard from the dorms so it was always quiet and calm. I booked two additional nights after arrival as I was very pleased with the private room.

the Riad is incredibly charming and offers beautiful interiors to relax and unwind. The terrace is breathtaking in the evening with a great panoramic view of Fes.

The host was amazing, super hospitable, nice, and made us feel at home, going above and beyond, always smiling. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. The room was nice, spacious enough, and has everything you'd expect. The Riad is in a good location, a quieter street yet right in the medina, between the two main streets.

The riadh is absolutely beautiful! Lovely courtyard, authentic and has been renovated in a loving caring way. The owner was super nice and welcomed us many times, explained how to find sights in Fez, gave general information. Also the man at the desk was very nice and made us feel at home. The room was lovely, big bed, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Lovely view from the terrace over the city! We enjoyed sitting and drinking tea there with a view over the city. The breakfast was tasty and we had a Friday couscous meal which was delicious, I recommend it! This lovely place is a real find and you will enjoy it! We will be back if we ever return to Fez!

Breakfast and dinner were really good. Family style local dishes and they gave us a box of croissants and fruits when we had to leave early. The tool was very well designed and we loved the central yard and the terrace too.

The courtyard was amazing, the staff are top notch. We especially appreciated Hajar (so) the young woman working in the evenings. Very friendly and accommodating. Really the best staff out of all the places we stayed.
