The location and property was absolutely beautiful. Edward, Helen & family made us feel extremely welcome, giving us the history and background to the manor and knowledge of the local areas. The wonderful dancing from Edward & Helen’s sweet girls! The breakfast was incredible and our room was sooo comfortable, it made us feel like royalty. I would recommend anyone to try this this place out, you’ll not be disappointed. We will definitely visit again!!

Incredible place. I would highly recommend this location to anyone! We booked this as a group of 10 for the night before my wedding. The food was incredible, the staff were amazing and the rooms were fab. The lodges were absolutely perfect and we’d love to come back some day for a few days stay - will definitely be returning.

The room was good, bed very comfortable. Wonderful views from a picture window. Very interesting venue, a 17th century coaching inn. Lovely lady running it, very friendly, excellent cook, breakfast was very generous. I had scrambled eggs on toast and my husband had most of a full English. There were also packets of cereal. Tea, coffee, orange juice, extra toast. Good informative book of the room and we had an excellent supper at a nearby Italian restaurant
