They made me feel at home, the owner and the staff are very nice persons, so kind, so helpful, smiling people. Property is very well located, just 5 min walks to Montefalco Center, you might walk to the restaurants for dinner, they have free parking, there is open buffet for all day. I definitely stay there again if I go once more, I thank them for their hospitality

Very kind host, great location, nice breakfast, silent room with wonderful view. Our host also arranged parking in an easy way and gave us recommendation for excursion and food.
Montefalco is absolutely beautiful. Stunning views, very relaxed atmosphere, great wineries and restaurants. Surrounded by farmland and fields of sunflowers. If you want to escape the tourist traps and relax in the real Italy, this is the place to do it. You will have to book well in advance, but a meal at Via da Mezzo, run by celebrity Italian chef Gioergione Barchesi is a must. Just make sure your really hungry.

The restaurants in Monte Falco are amazing and all in short working distance. The food, wine, ambiance and service is excellent across the board. There are also several scenic spots for drinks before dinner. It's also the perfect home base to visit wineries and beautiful Umbrian towns such as Assisi, Orvieto, Spello and Spelleto.

Montefalco is a charming small town perched on top of a hill, the ‘balcony of Umbria’. There are numerous small bars and restaurants of high quality and with friendly welcomes. We loved the views, enjoyed great food and drank the superb wines from wineries that were a stones throw away.

For a tiny town, there is lots to do and outstanding quality restaurants. Time it right, and you can be there for the harvesting of the grapes, the sagre or for a music festival. On top of that it is so pretty and charming, and the people are welcoming, warm and friendly

Santa Chiara was amazing!
Santa Chiara was amazing! We missed this on our last visit and she was one of the reasons we wanted to return. We had dinner at Alchemisti and it was wonderful as it was on our previous trip. The Gnocchi in Sangrantino sauce is bellissima! We had wanted to dine at Il Coccorone but it was closed - we ate there on our last trip. It is a great town in which to walk the streets. It is one of our favorite places to visit.

Wonderful shopping in a few specialty shops fo local...
Wonderful shopping in a few specialty shops fo local artisans.
Traditional food was some of the best we've had. Please don't just eat pizza here, try the truffles - there are several very good restaurants. The sangrantino wines are beautiful - there are several wine festivals throughout the year.
The breakfast was adequate and the Manager Roberto was friendly. He only spoke a little English, which is to be expected in a small Italian town. We liked this, as it gave us a chance to try out our Italian. The views of the from the room and balcony are outstanding! The bathroom and shower in room 3 are wonderfully spacious. We thought that that La Rocca offered a very good value for the money. Roberto was happy to make us reservations at the excellent restaurants. In mid April, the town of Montefalco seemed really quiet, especially at night.
Most of all - the friendliness and welcoming atmosphere of Andrea and Carolina!! They are always so cheerful and always attentive to our needs. The apartment was super comfortable for us to spend our four days just outside Montefalco. Wonderful views from the apartment. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with Carolina’s pastries the best! Their on site alimentari very convenient and their made-on-site pork products excellent!
The proprietor, Fabulous Fabio, and his wife were superb and delightful hosts. They attended meticulously to my every need,. They ensured I saw the best of beautiful Montefalco, and introduced me to the best restaurant on the square in this historic town. So I enjoyed a delicious gourmet supper, and the next day, after a comfortable and quiet night's sleep, and a good breakfast, I left Italy with very happy memories.
Beautifully constructed with the newest facilities. The kitchen had a wonderful array of food for breakfast with a great cappuccino machine. it was located a few minutes from Montefalco where we spent most of our time. it was also very close to the freeway from Perugia to Spoleto making Assisi, Spello, Trevi and Campello sul Clitunno very accessible.
Beautifully situated for a Montefalco stay. Beautiful views, lovely grounds and a comfortable and attractive building. Large apartment. Delicious homemade goods provided in abundance, making for a delicious breakfast. a very caring, generous and attentive landlady could not have been more obliging.
Small friendly hotel which is situated just inside the walls of the town. Room was scrupulously clean and very comfortable. Nice little roof terrace with seating and shade which was an unexpected surprise. Would certainly recommend this hotel for a good value short stay in Montefalco.
Huge room with an unexpected view across the countryside. Very clean, quiet and cool, in a tranquil street. Montefalco is really lovely, with beautiful buildings, lanes to explore and some superb restaurants - well worth a visit. Nice breakfast with fresh pastries from the local bakery.
Leonardo was an excellent host! He even provided home made biscuits made by his mom! Excellent view from the accommodation! Highly recommended for families.Impressed with the proximity to Montefalco (5 minutes walk) and grateful for the easy drive to Assisi!
Wonderful location in Montefalco, with a gorgeous balcony and incredible views of the town and surrounding countryside. A very magical place! The host was also lovely and very easy to deal with, and the check in/out process was seamless. A great stay for us.
Very close to Montefalco, small village with a lot of restaurants. Neighbourhood is beautiful: hills with vineyards close by and mountain tops behing them. Ideally for wine tourism: we visited some wineries for the lovely sagrantino wines.
Owner/operator attention to detail. Tastefully decorated, like-new condition. I felt like I was in a lovely, small hotel in Italia. It was exactly what I wanted in a beautiful small town in Italia.
Paola was very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was ample and the location just outside of Montefalco gave a countryside feel with a close proximity to the city. The views were great!
Beautiful cottage and garden area. Great base for exploring this area of Umbria by car. Very friendly and helpful owners who live nearby. Their pets are also very charming !
Everything was great! 8-minute walk from Giorgione restaurant and the centre of Montefalco. The owner was super sweet and the breakfast biscuits she made were sooo good!
