Great location not more than a ten minute walk to the town centre, that's if you don't stop for a drink in one of the pubs on the way. Parking is always welcome boost and it was off street so no need to worry. Breakfast was great and plenty.

We stayed here for a birthday treat and it did not disappoint! The sleeping dog room was amazing and sooo spacious and having the hot tub was a lovely extra. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was beautiful we had the avocado delight & the homemade pancakes. Even though we weren’t far from home we felt a million miles away which was so peaceful with the location and the horses in the fields near by. Being a schnauzer owner this was perfect place to stay and meeting the wee schnauzies topped it off. We will definitely be back thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Hot tub was amazing. Had lots of little things to make stay better, I.e ice bucket, glasses in room and toiletries. Meeting the 5 furry babies was a particular high for me.

We decided to go for three reasons and stayed near to Falkirk at Caldercruix the attractions were 1, The Kelpies 2, the Falkirk Lift or wheel 3, Callendar House. The fist two items were superb unfortunately the house was closed due to a concert but we had a wonderfull walk through the gardens. We were able to get a train to Edinburgh from our base at a cost of £26.00 return for two tickets, not worth the effort to drive and and then to try and park.

We were travelling from Falkirk to Airdrie so didn't see that much, especially as Craig Park House is quite rural. It was a pity we couldn't stay longer as it would have been nice to have investigated the locality.

Airdrie itself seemed to have little to recommend it but the restaurant I had dinner in was excellent. The Himalaya curry house. People were friendly enough but the pubs were awful. Perhaps next time I stay on business I will check out other parts of Airdrie.

I didn't actually visit Airdrie, my visit was mainly to return my late wife's ashes to her family in Lanark where I knew they would be cared for. I did have a quick look at Glasgow whilst here strange to find all roads appear to be at right angles. Was told Glasgow had major immigrant problem but all I saw was very elderly women of I assume Afghan heritage on street corners begging with not a single male member in sight, Found it sad as I could not envisage leaving my mother to beg for the family?
