My stay at Turne was disappointing. As several other reviewers had noted, they have an issue with smell from the drains and old carpet. When I complained about the smell in my room I was offered a different room, that was slightly less smelly.
Whilst the rooms are quite cheap, I couldn't help thinking throughout my stay that I wished I paid a bit more
On the positive side its in a quiet location, on a cul-de-sac, but also centrally positioned in town.

They have an app for the city buses where you can buy your ticket.
If you love cat's visit the cat museum fantastic visit.
The hill of crosses I think all should see as it is a site to behold on it's own.
Only down side is the bolt scooters left around the city. Bolt need to add facilities as to where these can be properly stored.

There were last-minute changes in the apartment due to some structural problem, so practically I did not stay in the property I was booked but in a different apartment. Therefore this rating may be not accurate for this specific apartment.
The property was very conveniently situated close to the city center. It was nice and clean and the host was very helpful. The apartment was much smaller than the one booked but it was comfortable for one person for this trip.

The city Industrial history started early 1900.
Local business man started a shoe factory. The business was very successful, more and more business came to the city.
The city size was at its best just before the war with 140 000 habitants.
The 2nd WW was not a brilliant time for the city who sent most of the business families (Jewish) to concentration camp.
Post 2nd WW, the city produced Bicycles, TV and radio for the mother URSS.
The city architecture is interesting and very well renovated.
Small university, beautiful church and pedestrian esplanade and only a few bars (cozy and friendly) and a handful of restaurants.
Currently the city is a growing nicely from an industrial point of view. From metal sheet, furniture, electrical appliance, plastic, heavy industry, ...
The property exceeds my expectations. Comfy, clean, everything you need for short standing is in place. Self-check-in/check-out is really simple, and the instructions provided by the host were absolutely clear. The host is fast responding and honestly supportive. Very close to the city center. I easily found available parking at the internal yard (3Еur/24h paying by text message / eur-coins / app). I can definitely recommend the property as an excellent option for a short stand. And yes, Šiauliai is a charming city, enjoy:)
A nice location near to the lake. We stayed only one night to visit the Hill of Crosses and to continue our way to Vilnius. It’s a good place to chill, read and to have dinner in the restaurant near the lake. That was the reason we chose this hotel. A good restaurant with a nice terras. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. A simple breakfast, limited, we didn’t like the prepacked sweets.
Great location near Siauliai Arena (we went to a concert). The apartment is in reality the same as in the photos and description, very clean, very beautiful and comfortable apartment with everything you need, quiet and peaceful. TV with many channels, many different and cozy lighting options. Lidl is nearby, the main street leads to the city center. Liked everything
Check in was smooth, hotel was safe with secured front entry lock, room was big and extremely clean, shower was good with soap and towels provided, and beds were comfortable. The hotel is also a good location from bus and train station, supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away, and quiet enough to have a good rest. Will recommend this place!
Breakfast is amazing - you get a choice of several hot meals and buffet style is also available.
Hotel offers free coffee and tea 24/7, staff is super friendly. Also there is a relax area, where you can play billiard or table football game. Neighbourhood is two parks and city centre - in a walking distance.
Free parking on site. Loved it!
More of a “Boutique Hotel” feel as more personal. Staff Miss Icetee’ was absolutely helpful in arranging taxi rides to our destinations & truly a joy. I also received a hotel tour from the other young lady staff who showed me the sauna & jacuzzi tub. A lovely breakfast & wonderful view of the park was so relaxing & peaceful.
A very cozy, bright, quiet apartment located on the second floor. Perfect cleanliness. A few minutes walk to the pedestrian boulevard and a restaurant with national cuisine next to the hotel Šiauliai. Very close to the lake with a recreation area and an "Iron fox". Fast and pleasant communication with owners.
Good location - just outside the town, easy to drive to town. Good sound isolation. Very good breakfast - included sandwiches, yogurt, juice, coffee, hot dish. :) Free parking space. Good price. Good view - motel is on the hill with the panorama of the Siauliai. :) Beautiful and good restaurant. :)
The receptionist was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. The room certaintly had a lot of charachter, however was clean and well looked after. The hotel has a lot of 'soviet' charm, however good location to train station and for expoloring Hill of Crosses. Views from top rooms are amazing!
Perfect location: in the centre of Siauliai.
Several people complained about the noise from the night club, but it is open only on Fridays and Saturdays. We stayed on other weekdays, so it was very calm.
Quiet central location, fast contactless check in, good wifi, the flat has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Šiauliai. Spacious free parking place at Pakalnes 6 during weekend.
Everything was great! We also had our wedding morning photoshoot and getting ready here and it was perfect! 100% recommend. Thank you for a greatly designed space in Šiauliai.
