The hotel bares the name of "Hotel & Spa", however, the actual spa service is extra. The hotel does have an outdoor pool which guests could use for free. However, it was impractical in the cold raining winter. The actual spa with the indoor pools, however aren't free. Guests have to pay $49 for a day pass. We was surprised to find out we had to pay extra for the spa pool. In addition, there was a waiting list for the pools and bath house, so, the service was not guaranteed if you are willing to pay. We wish the website would have that information.

I felt it was pretty, but it didn’t really have the choice of restaurants. I felt Napa was definitely the place to stay and they had more restaurants and more places to eat breakfast. Sonoma was a bit small.

Just an hour or so outside San Francisco, Sonoma is a picturesque city set among the vineyards in Northern California. It features a beautiful square with galleries, shops and restaurants. They often feature live music in the square. Great for a long weekend, the vineyards offer tours and tastings. There is also a wonderful cheese shop there. If you enjoy being active, don’t miss the hiking/biking trails in the area.

It is a quiet and over-looked town! MUST SEE! They have a cute downtown Sonoma Plaza, with a Visitor Bureau with free coupons (2 for 1 wine tasting), lots of cute and varied shops and restaurants. There are also a lot of museums and the Sonoma Mission right there. We visited Buena Vista, Gundlach Bundschu, and Jacuzzi wineries--ALL were beautiful! We had a great dining experience at Sonoma Grill and Bar in the back terrace.

Downtown Sonoma is a quaint town with cafes, galleries, a movie theater, and most importantly, two ice cream shops (we chose the Chocolate Cow). We also found a wonderful hike nearby called Sonoma Overlook in the downtown area. About 1.3 miles up for a beautiful view of the city.

The foods we tried were all delicious.
The foods we tried were all delicious. The town square and park were quaint as well as the city itself. I loved the architecture of the homes in the downtown area. The area is very walkable and there were many unique shops.
This boutique hotel is the best value in Sonoma hands down! The room was beautiful and spacious, the location is literally right in the middle of plaza you can walk to any amazing restaurant or cafe! The hotel also gave us a complimentary wine tasting while we were there and Brandon who did our tasting was knowledgeable and awesome! Maggie is the GM and was incredibly welcoming! Family owned and you can tell because they make you feel right at home. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely come back!
Overall the structure is quite nice and well integrated with the context, there is a nice pool with sunbeds and we appreciated the no-noise policy in place. There is a free parking which is one of the reason we picked this one.
The city center of Sonoma is 1.3 km away and can be easily reached by walk or bike (highly recommended renting one).
The hotel's appearance overall was attractive, with trees and plants surrounding the building and the inner pool area. The room was quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast choices were more than adequate. The location is walking distance from the square and from the events we attended. Having shops nearby was a plus.
the location was in short walking distance to Sonoma Square (5-7min) and yet on the edge of a residential area and Sonoma biking trail so pretty quiet overall. Loved the space as it felt like our own little cottage. We used the provided amenities to make breakfast both mornings, and having the dishwasher was such a nice bonus.
Lady on reception was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel had a traditional feel and was quite nicely decorated with pictures relating to the area. Good coffee machine. Lots of parking. Good location for exploring the area. Fairly good value for Sonoma.
The property is in a great location. The rooms were better than we expected. They were definitely clean, the bathroom products smelt nice. Property is right across a plaza with Whole Foods, CVS etc and a mere 2mins walk to Sonoma Square
It was a cozy inn with nothing much to complain about. Little amenities such as wine and breakfast were appreciated. Really felt Karen and Larry tried their absolute best to be hospitable and make us feel welcome. Had a great stay
Best host ever. So helpful & kind. Superb location 2 mins from Sonoma plaza. I will come back just to have a chat with mom & daughter hosts again 💕 Quiet & well equipped tiny home. Thx for a lovely stay.
It is a very nice home with good privacy in a convenient location with respect to downtown Sonoma. The home was generally clean and comfortable. Directions on accessing the home were easy to follow.
Excellent location, next to Sonoma square, restaurants and shops.
Nice private patio with hot tub surrounded by a small beautiful vineyard.
Upgraded bathroom, kitchenette, and bedding.
Super nice staff, helped us with everything and showed us to room. Was very accommodating!!
Big clean room, with very nice bathroom as well.
Can walk 3 blocks to main square in Sonoma.
Delicious breakfast good variety lovely coffee. Room very comfortable quiet and 5 minutes walk from Sonoma centre Great location and wine and cheese at 5pm everyday lovely touch
The room and the bed were quite comfy! The continental breakfast had lots of good options! The hotel is close to Sonoma Plaza. I would highly recommend El Pueblo Inn.
