Great view from the 5th floor balcony. Front desk attendant was very attentive and steered us in the right direction when we asked about places to eat nearby. I always believe that it is best to ask the "locals" where they eat to get an honest review. I was in the restaurant business for 40 years. The place that she recommended was AWESOME!

breakfast was available for longer than most places (until 10am) and was fully stocked the whole time. Those waffles were great! The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We did not choose to eat the breakfast as we had plans to meet someone away from the hotel. From the time we pulled onto the parking lot we were impressed and it carried over thru every stage of our visit. VERY NICE !!!!!!!!!

Great place to stay for a night if you're passing through...
Great place to stay for a night if you're passing through town. There's a church on the same lot as the motel. Not sure if it's affiliated or not though. The view was spectacular, the bed was comfy, the ac worked great, there was a refrigerator, microwave, little table to eat on, bathroom was very clean, the owners were very nice and accommodating, and Lexington seems like a very quaint town. We went to Natural Bridge the next day, which was about 10 miles south, and had a great time on our way to Tennessee. We liked it so much we thought about staying there on our way home from our Tennessee trip, butwe decided just to drive straight home and not stop at all. But if we had stopped, we would have stopped there again. The only negative thing was there was only one nightstand, the left side of the bed did not have one and they're really just wasn't quite enough room for one. It was a king size bed but there was plenty of room for everything else. I love supporting mom and pop shops, motels, and other businesses, so this was perfect for us. I highly recommend it here.

Lexington is a serene, historical college town embedded in the Shenandoah area. It is quite a pleasure to walk around the town and college campus of Washington & Lee. VMI is also there. There is quite a lot of civil war history around here being along Virginia's Civil War Trails. One can visit the many shops and restaurants downtown, or stop through the Jackson House Museum. The town is also very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which then leads on to Shenandoah National Park. Lexington is a nice place to stop for a day or two.

Comfortable beds and a tv with an actual, physical channel guide. Didn’t have to channel surf. Breakfast could have offered some fresh fruit and bagels would have been nice too. The eggs and bacon were good, nice and warm.

We've only been to town twice. The area is very cute. Heliotrope Brewing has excellent beer and pizza - even with vegan options.
Lots of natural beauty to explore nearby.
We will make this our halfway stop as we travel NC-PA.

Good location, clean, comfortable.restaurant right next door.
I did not get the room I booked. Had to have a cot brought in fir our grandson. No compassion from front desk , said they don’t know how online booking works. No other rooms available.also did not advertise the pool was down. Sign on pool door says closed for construction , will reopen in April. It’s July. Had I known pool was down I would have booked elsewhere overall huge disappointment
Room was very clean, ac worked great, there was a little table to eat on, plenty of room, bathroom was very clean, the owners were really nice. Great place to stay for a night if you're just passing through town, or on I 81. There's even a church on the parking lot. Not sure if it's affiliated with the motel or not but I've never stayed anywhere before that had a church on the same lot like this. It's right down the road about ten miles north of Natural Bridge. Very quaint. Cute town of Lexington.
Breakfast was average for this chain of hotels. Was what we expected, nothing more. Bed was comfortable & room size good. Air conditioning was adequate but noisy as most are. The room seemed somewhat humid/damp air, which was not great. Location was convenient to Interstate. Very quiet..lots of horse people as expected close to the Horse Center & a big show going on. The place felt very safe & our check in person, a young man, was especially personable. We would stay here again.
The view is astounding. You can see the mountains from the whole upper part, as it is up on a hill, and at the end of a long trip, it was great to check out the view. Everything in the room was more like an apartment than a hotel room. Everything was great and there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. Also, there is a gas station at the bottom of the hill if you need gas, or something quick to eat or drink. A top notch place that I highly recommend.
The location and price of the hotel were the main reasons I selected this property for my family's stay. The rooms were spacious, which was a nice surprise. I also liked having a second sink outside the bathroom; that provided a place for kids to get ready for the day and for bed without tying up the main bathroom. The views from this hilltop hotel were also amazing.
When I go to Lexington to visit friends, I always stay at Best Western Plus for all the reasons that are above. We had to stay somewhere else for two nights in our recent visit and when I got back to BWP, I said to my friend, "We are home and there is our lady behind the desk!" That is truly I how I felt.
Great price and location. Immediate access to restaurants, gas stations, the highway, and both universities in Lexington. Rooms were so spacious that it was easy to fit in a roll-away. Breakfast included something hot, and the pool area was great.
This was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I wasn’t expecting much because it is a budget hotel. I would stay here again anytime there is availability. You can’t beat the value for the money.
Good breakfast and complimentary chocolate chips, great access to historic downtown Lexington, Natural Bridge, Green Valley Book Fair, Factory Antique Mall and Dayton Farmers Market!
It was beautiful and still historic. I applaud Hilton for allowing it to be different than the normal Hampton’s. This hotel was a perfect fit for the area.
