One of the best accomodations we had, breakfast is fantastic, buffet and as a guest of the hotel you can also order free of charge anything from the bistro menu that is open for outsiders, you cannot top this, staff was just great, kind, helpful, fast in reactions, rooms were very clean, without scratches or marks on the walls (we had a sea side view room), balcony with a nice view, free of charge shaded parking place, umbrellas with sun beds and towels included and just across the street of the beach, 10 minutes away from port. Good food also as lunch/evening option, sea food, pizza, meat. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended place.

Stara Baska is at the end of a narrow street, which most Tourists don’t go to. This means you have a chance to visit your own piece of paradise there with all the things you need (like a nice quiet beach and a couple of restaurants). Before you follow the road, don’t forget to stock up on food in Krk, there’s a small market which has fresh veggies and fruit, but only limited options in case you like to make your own dinner.

For me it is a perfect place, where you can still enjoy some of the old mediteranean village Feel. Some people might not like the lack of the village facilities and steep hills but it works for us. One of the most beautiful places on the island of KrK.
One of the most beautiful places on the island of KrK. The magnificent beauty of the mountains and the sea! Many really beautiful beaches (Oprna Bay, Zala), including almost wild ones. The town is on a hill. Most beaches need to be reached on foot, sometimes making whole walks. For those who do not like to walk a lot, there is a more accessible public beach at the pier. The beauty of nature is unreal. Those who love the Adriatic and beautiful landscapes should definitely visit the Stará Baska.AAnonymousBelarus - 8.0Scored 8.0

Small village with lot of small, clean, calm, pebbled beaches. You can do some walking tours to the hills. There are some restaurant, but don't find shop. If you would like to visit nearby settlements you need a car. The streets are narrow and crowded in the village and next to larger beaches. There are some residential area where you can't enter by car. These area are very peaceful and quiet, however sometimes you have to left your car a little further. Krk is a beutiful island and Stara Baska is a nice little place on it. There were a bit too many people, but the big problem is the cars, they seriously need to do something with it, the island has 10x the cars the roads can handle. And of course everyone is using their cars for everything when there is no other transportation method available. They need to think if they want constant queues of cars of maybe have buses and just simply put some parking lots where there is enough space and make people use the buses.eleventeHungary

The apartman was perfect, kitchen was fully equipped, and the bed was also fantastic. Beaches near, and the town center is only 5 minutes walk. Perfect location.
