The breakfast was outstanding. The dinner we had was also lovely. It is a very nice place to stay -- super cute and modern with a lovely view of La Spezia. It was a little hard to find and it is a hike from the train station but that's what makes it so enchanting.

Staff was lovely, the facilities even more beautiful than pictured. We booked one of the tents and it was even better than I hoped with clear, gorgeous views and comfortable everything. Breakfast was generous and we loved that they offered shuttle service to the train station. We also rented bikes for a day which was a great way to get around and see things.

The breakfast was very good and the property although out of the city offered transportation whenever it was needed. The staff, which was mostly family, where friendly and very helpful.

The standard at this hotel has remained exceptionally high (we visited it a few years ago). It has a brilliant breakfast arrangement where the usual buffet style mayhem is replaced by the lovely staff who give you what you want and make sure it doesn't run out. Parking no problem ample space for everyone. We didn't use the free shuttle bus but walked the short walk to the train station to get to the villages. Very hot outside but air conditioning coped well. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and worked exceptionally hard and the whole place was well run.

Fantastiskt fint, välstädat och angenämt. Fabio var oerhört vänlig och kom med färsk foccaccia på morgonen. Perfekt med parkering både vid boendet och i byn. Utsikten från huset var magisk!

Where to start? The property is located in the heart of the old town with amazing views of the town and the sea. The inside is as good as any high end hotel and the outside - 2 terraces, furniture, hot tub - is even better. Its just the perfect place to absorb the Cinque Terra vibe. And after a full day out - a wonderful place to return to to relax…. The host - Veronica - is just the best. Nothing is too much trouble and she helped us to plan our 3 amazing days. She sent us boat times and train times - and generally helped to ensure that everything we did was fabulous. And breakfast - delicious and so much food, no need to eat again until the evening!

Villanovas lägenheter ligger på den liguriska landsbygden, 5 minuters bilresa från Levantos centrum och tågstation med förbindelser till Cinque Terre. it’s a truly amazing experience! we’ve got apartment is a separate house on the hill with a little garden and sitting area - seeing sunset there was amazing! day at the beach and evening in the mountains in jacuzzi- yep! that’s absolutely possible with this beautiful place. very clean! very delicious breakfast with a lot of choices and some delicious local products 👌🏻 great quality of cosmetics offered as a bonus!

I am a frequent traveler and I usually reside in 3-5 stars' hotels in different parts of the world. By far, Grand Hotel Portovenere gave me the best hotel experience that I ever had throughout more than 25 years of frequent travelling! The staff are our of this world with loads of care and support ! Ariana and Chiara in the reception were exceptional in the kind of support and genuine care that they offered allover our stay :) Anna S. in the restaurant was very careful to make us feel at home in every single meal! Everything about this hotel is exceptional; safety, cleanliness, location, breakfast, very delicious and typically Ligurian dinner, …, etc. I never rated a hotel with 10 (even very luxurious ones) - Yet, I would openly and gladly rate Grand Hotel Portovenere with a 10+
