A nice pool, friendly staff, a great place to start our vacation. Easy airport pickup, good and quiet AC! The kids liked too play with the bunnies that were jumping around in the garden. They also helped us to book a 3 tour to the mountains with Nalin who showed and taught us lots about sri lanka!

The family really made us feel so warm and welcome, even though we arrived in the middle of the night, they were not mad we woke them up and welcomed us warmly.

Located in Katunayaka in the Gampaha District Region, 24 km from Colombo, Airport A4 Residence features a barbecue, children's playground and sun terrace. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The accommodation was very clean , the owners very nice !

Set in Negombo, 700 metres from Negombo Beach Park, Green Wood Villa Negombo boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. We were given the family room on the second floor, which is very spacious with high ceilings and two large beds. The room was tastefully decorated and well equipped, with AC, fan and a fridge. It has views over the canal and the large pool. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The property is in a quiet neighborhood a few minutes walk away from the sea front and restaurants. The host was very helpful and arranged our lift to the airport, a 20-25 minute drive away. A great place to start or end a trip to Sri Lanka.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Dickman Resort "The Boutique Hotel", an adult-only property, is located just 150 meters from the scenic Negombo Beach. Free WiFi access is available in this resort. Staff gave a very warm welcome and were extremely helpful and friendly all the time. The place is fantastic with its bright colours and unique decor. Location is suburb. Our room was hugh and very nice to be in. The breakfast is divine and the pool is lovely to spend time there relaxing. It is one of our favourite places that we have ever stayed in. 😍

Villa Hundira sijaitsee 4,5 km:n päässä hollantilaiselta linnoitukselta. Majoituspaikassa on puutarha, ulkouima-allas sekä huoneita, joissa on ilmainen WiFi. Everything was perfect once we settled into the Lagoon Suite with views over the lagoon and expansive living area. Our host, Jay the resort manager was a terrific person who made sure everything went smoothly including a tour around the property where we met the owners Rolf and Indira and engaged in great conversation before being introduced to Thimble and meeting the craftswomen hard at work. The staff at the resort were wonderful and provided service second to none and really made us feel like family. The food was exceptional, so much so that we ended up eating all our meals from breakfast through dinner exclusively at the resort. The gin and tonics using local gin were terrific and the only regret is we completely forgot to try the local arrack despite promising to do so. Next time. There are various areas to have meals throughout the resort with the overall feeling of privacy coupled with openness. We typically ate breakfast facing the lagoon in the area below the room, and often dinner at tables closer to the pool - there was no shortage of choice depending on the mood and ambience needed. Food choices range from western to local, and all were true to expectations with the local cuisine being wonderfully authentic. On our final day we used the Spa for a 3 hour treatment followed up with local cuisines - what a wonderful experience and recommended as a 'must do' for anyone staying multiple days. As a memory of our stay we bought a wonderful wall tapestry designed and created by the artisans at Thimble and this will feature in a prominent position in our house in the future. Overall the most relaxing environment we stayed at in Sri Lanka for our final few days and we are already looking forward to returning. Recommendation for anyone interested is to stay at least 2 nights, slow down, relax, and enjoy the offerings.

Wallawwa is a restored colonial manor house siting on 3 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, only 15 minutes' drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. Great architecture and design, tasty food, warm hospitality and pleasant atmosphere.
