Wonderful Hotel located directly in the center of the city with almost everything in reach. Just in front of the ocean, you can enjoy a great view! I have never seen such a huge breakfast buffet, we easily spend 2 hours there! Also enjoyed the afternoon tea, though service was a bit slow, food was very good! Room was not only cleaned daily but all bottles were restocked! Any Shampoo, even water bottles were for free and restocked. The pool was great, because it's covered , so you could eben take a swim when it was raining! In the changing rooms you can find a sauna and showers. Very friendly service we really enjoyed the stay and can't wait to visit again!

Perched on top of a hill, this resort is surrounded by the tropical rainforests of Borneo. Great staff and location for everything. Really helpful and renovation is going on in the rooms. Nice stat would reccomend.

Set amidst a nature reserve overlooking the South China Sea, Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu features relaxing stays in elegantly furnished guest rooms. the ocean wing was spectacular! the staff were fairly familiar with dietary needs (gluten free specifically) and accommodated well. the staff also gave us a to-go breakfast box because we had to check out before the delicious breakfast. the ocean wing is well worth booking, it felt less busy than the other wing. loads of activities to keep any traveler busy.
