Such a lovely location! We were close to Cairns and most of the activities we wanted to do. The furthest we had to drive was just over 80 minutes and we went from the reef to the rainforest & beyond. The beach was just gorgeous and we enjoyed a twilight stroll along the waterfront with the sound of young people enjoying their dinner & drinks overlooking the beach. The shopping centre was just around the corner (very handy) but we chose to drive to Smithfield (10 mins) for groceries as they were cheaper there. The beds were very comfortable & keeping the air con at 22°C as suggested was just perfect. We loved dining 'al fresco' by the barbeque & enjoying the pool to cool off. All in all it was the perfect location and a lovely place to come back to after a day of adventuring!
