Commanding far-reaching views over the English Channel, the Wight Mouse Inn is peacefully located amid grassy downs just 15 minutes’ drive from Ventnor. Rooms were fine. Beds comfortable. Restaurant was excellent. Nothing to complain about here. Location is beautiful.

Stonewind Farm, a property with a garden, is located in Freshwater, 28 km from Osborne House, 3.1 km from Hurst Castle, as well as 3.4 km from The Needles Old Battery. Excellent base location. Friendly hosts. Lovely property, top class.

Grantham House Victorian Villa built in 1863 is located in Ryde, 300 metres from the seafront. The town centre is a 10-minute walk, with a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. The house is beautifull and Chris is very nice and help full. When we arrived, he took the time to explain all the beautifull things we can see on the island and gave us an alternative when what we had planned was not possible.

The Annexe, a property with a garden, is set in Newchurch, 15 km from Osborne House, 1.8 km from Amazon World Zoo Park, as well as 2.9 km from The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. It was off the beat and track and it was lovely and clean. Pat and Bill were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. Whenever we visit our daughter on the Isle of Wight again, we will always look to stay here again. We really can’t speak highly enough!!! Duncan and Stacey

The Blacksmith Shop, a property with a garden, is situated in Shorwell, 16 km from Osborne House, 10 km from Carisbrooke Castle, as well as 13 km from The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. The Blacksmiths Shop in the charming village of Shorwell is located in a great part of the island- close to some amazing beaches and walks. The cottage itself was really spacious with comfortable sofas and beds and it was lovely to get a log fire burning in the winter. The accommodation was clean throughout - a great place to relax.

Set in Ventnor and with Ventnor reachable within 300 metres, The Wellington offers concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The hotel has been renovated and they did a great job on it. Our room had a sea view and huge windows, a large terrace with outstanding views. The service was personable and exceptional in all respects. The breakfast was excellent, hot and fresh. A great location and very unique. We can’t wait to return!

Centrally located in Ryde on the Isle of Wight, Dorset House is just an 8-minute walk from 6 miles of sandy beaches. The hotel features a large car park, available to all guests for free. The location was excellent within east walking to restaurants and pubs. We loved the full breakfast! Our garden room was very sweet with a pretty outlook. Had a lovely stay and highly recommend a local restaurant Ada Mediterranean!
