The pool was perfect for jumping and playing with kids. Just remember the depth was more than 1m. The villa is hidden in an olive garden, totally separated from the rest world. Nobody, literally nobody, will disturb your holidays there. You can reach the sea by foot. It's not an easy walk, yes, but it's totally worth it. There's a chance you won't bump on a person at all for the whole day.

Cool and spacious in a beautiful little hamlet, with everything you could need. When I first booked this I was worried about how remote the place was as although we were looking for peace and quiet we didn’t really want to hire a car and drive everywhere. The hosts, Toni and Dijana made sure that wasn’t a problem. They picked us up from the ferry and helped arrange hiring electric bikes which if you are just in the area for a few days was the perfect way to get around. They were so welcoming. Just a ten minute walk away (down a v rough track) was our favourite beach we found on Hvar, flat rocks to lie on, steps to get into the water, the best snorkling and we had it completely to ourselves! Something I never thought we would find in July. If you are looking to get away from the crowds I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The hosts at Hvaretta Villas went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and smooth. The villas are super for the group of 9 we were. Fully equipped kitchen made a difference. Stari Grad town was 5 minute car drive away.

If you want to be away from people then this is a perfect place. 5 mins to Stari Grad with the car but on the edge of sleepy village with no neighbours around. You will be accompanied by the loveliest dog ever, a horse, a donkey, chickens, guinea fowls. Fresh eggs will be delivered when available. The house offers all the comfort (anything you may possibly need), there is plenty seating possibilities around, ample parking, barbecue and fairly large swimming pool. Whole plot is very big and offers a lot of space. And if you want - animals are there to play with as well. The owners are super friendly and nice people. Because there are animals, they will come every morning and evening for a few minutes to take care of them. But this will not bother you at all. You do not even need to talk to them if you don´t want to but this would be a huge shame!! We even had a great fish barbecue together with local wines. I would go back immediately.
